Aw, you guys! I can't believe this is the last part! (Of the story... of course there will be an Author's Note at the end, but ya know... still.) Anyways, it also makes me excited, because I can start thinking about what other things I want to write, and maybe take some of your suggestions. I was thinking a short-stories book would be cool for Miraculous Ladybug, maybe one that has both romance/"ooh la la" stuff and cutesy things??? Lemme know! Enjoy the last part!

It had been a while since everything happened, and by everything I mean... well, EVERYTHING. I decided that two people in the mansion was simply too bare and bland, so Nino and Alya moved in shortly after Marinette and I did. Alya and Nino stayed all the way across the mansion in what I liked to call, the room ever so slightly smaller than the master bedroom. Because, all the rooms were big, and the only thing that made the rooms different was that one was at the end of a hallway, and the other was in the basement. It made things much more  homely, having more than two people. I wondered how my father and mother did it at first, since I couldn't handle it.
Speaking of my mother, we had taken her to the hospital, but it was too late. She ended up passing away the moment they took her off of life support. The grief wasn't as hard, and maybe that's because she'd been gone for so long, that I had accepted it. But, it was difficult none of the less, especially knowing that my dad was to blame. He would never be able to leave. I refused to help him with bail, and as a result, he will no longer be seen in the public eye. Part of me wishes it didn't have to happen, but the other half is grateful. He caused terror and chaos in Paris, and each time, somebody got hurt. Most of the time, they forgot, yes, but they walked around every day after that paranoid, and I could never imagine going through what they went through. I do know that I saved them, and Marinette, and every other superhero.
I did get my father's company after all, and I'm keeping it with me until Marinette graduates. She doesn't know that, though. It won't however, be called Gabriel's line. It will be known as Agreste, in hopes that the designer will use that last name someday. And, as much as I didn't want to, it's in honor of its founder, too. As for how we were living now, this property is my dad's, and fortunately, the court couldn't revoke it anyway, since it was now under my name. Being an adult has its perks, sometimes. Despite my father's twisted secrets, he had a successful company, and as a result, has given me the ability to live a life a little more. We redid a lot of the house, painted it and redecorated it. It was mainly for my sake, but also Marinette had convinced me that the house could be changed with a little help, and that we'd be able to make new memories with it. The money I was given was plentiful, but it was almost too much for me to keep for myself. I paid for mine, Marinette's, Alya's, and Nino's school. They would never have to deal with debt. But that barely made a dent, so I donated to multiple charities, in hopes that the Agreste name wasn't completely ruined. It worked... seeing as I wasn't my father.
Magic was no longer outlawed, and as a result, we were able to freely be ourselves, without having to hide. magic users took on unconventional jobs, and made the city better. It was cleaner, safer, and lively. I'm very pleased I don't have to flee the city any longer.
Alya and Nino are quite the couple. In fact, Marinette and I agree that they're basically married (engaged, but basically married), and probably will be for a long time. Nino got accepted into school for music composition. We built a recording studio in the basement for him to work, and it's been doing wonders for him. Alya's in school for Journalism, and still runs the Ladyblog. She's an intern for Nadja Chamack, which is incredible, seeing as Mrs. Chamack is Paris's number one reporter.
Marinette is in school for fashion design, which comes as no shock to anybody. She's incredible, and we really did a number to the sewing room. She uses me as a male model for her projects, but in a good way, and always lets me pick the times. I love helping Marinette. We're also dating, and she's the best girlfriend ever. Ladybug and Chat Noir have become quite the super couple as well, but that's how it should've been to begin with, I like to think we've been a thing the whole time, but Marinette would beg to differ on that one.
I'm in school for business. While it's not my preferred subject, I do well, and I know it'll really help me in the long run.
Despite everything that happened, I am incredibly grateful for what I have, and more importantly, the opportunity to make something of myself. I've been even more glad I've been able to help those I really care about. I consider Alya, Nino and Marinette my family now. I've found happiness, and I can tell, Marinette has too. We were standing out in the garden, and I took her hand.
"Marinette," I looked at her, "How are you feeling?"
"What do you mean?" she turned to me, looking at me with a little confusion written on her face.
"I mean, after everything." I answered, "It seems things took a 180, in the best way possible. It's honestly a little overwhelming still."
"Well," she started, "It did, definitely. Like you said though, it's a great turn around, and I don't think I've been this relieved or at peace in a while. It almost feels too good to be true, you know?" she quietly giggled, "Why, is everything okay with you?"
"Yes, very. I wanted to give you something," I pulled a small box out of my pocket, and took her hand. I opened the box slowly, and she gasped,
   "Oh, Adrien, it's beautiful!"
"It's a promise ring." I took it out. It had a silver band with a small pink pearl in the middle, "A promise that whatever happens, good or bad, you're stuck with me."
"I'm fine with that." she smiled. I slipped the ring on her finger, and we kissed, under the stars. Quite cheesy, then again, I tried making things purr-fect.

I was gonna make it longer, but thought that it kind of needed to be a little shorter. I wouldn't want to carry out the ending, now would I? Also, kind of funny, but I like how all the chapter names kind of summarize the book. That wasn't planned. Also, Marinette's first chapter is called "Meet My Familiar" and this one (Adrien's last) is "It's Nice To Meet You"... haha that was! I'm gonna make this short, since I have a whole Author's Note coming up, but thank you. This wouldn't have been possible without you all. I love you! ~Morgan
