Marinette: First Round, Then Second Round

   We had been living with Master Fu for a week now, and it wasn't exactly what I had planned for my future. At least I had one at this point.
   Adrien was helping Master Fu make dinner, and I was watching Tikki and Plagg fly around. I was also tuning in and out of the news. Then, I tuned in at the right moment.
   "We are currently under the attack of another akuma who goes by the name Pulso, whose goal is to wipe out those in possession of magic. His target? The girl that the Anti-Magic Counsel still have yet to find. Marinette Dupain-Cheng. So far, no one with magic has been identified. Stay tuned for updates." Adrien was standing behind me, and we looked at Master Fu.
   "Go." he nodded. I had completely replenished my magic, but it had been a while since an akuma came. We transformed, and left Master Fu's house, and headed to the Eiffel Tower, where the villain was last spotted. We arrived, and spiraling around the tower was a tornado of what we liked to call AMC Alert. It was a purple smoke that basically made a wizard or witch ill to the touch. Adrien and I were nervous now. Master Fu had dispersed the miraculous to other people since Adrien was sick, so the three newest additions were there as well. This was a very serious villain. Carapace, Rena Rouge, and Queen Bee were all trying to fight Pulso from outside of the cloud.
   "Ladybug, we got to get closer." I turned to face Chat, and he was analyzing the scene, before turning to me, "S-Sorry, we're going to need to get used to calling each other by our superhero names in public... again."
   "You're fine." I turned back, "The only one we can reach him is if we go through the eye of the storm... that's the only place not affected by the alert."
   "OK, but in comparison to the surrounding storm... how are we supposed to get to the middle?"
   "I know." I looked over to Carapace and Rena Rouge, "We need Rena to distract Pulso, so then Carapace can cast a shield."
   "What about Queen Bee?"
   "We need to clear the area..."
   "Got it. I'll give them the news. Start mapping it out." Chat hopped towards them, and I looked around. If I could get to the top of the Eiffel Tower without Pulso hitting me, I'd have a direct path to take in order to get to him. However, his actions would result in an uncontrollable amount of his energy flying everywhere else... which was why we needed everyone to evacuate. It seemed like Rena Rouge and Queen Bee were already on it, Chat Noir and Carapace landed next to me. Rena set off an illusion, and Pulso was targeting it. Then, Carapace set up the shield. Chat and I headed to the center, and Chat was able to tackle him down. I took off anything I could to break it. I managed to get his magic detector and gas launcher. Then, he hit me off of him. He tried putting his launcher back together, but couldn't. 
   "LADYBUG!" He roared, "I'M GOING TO KILL YOU, YOU MAGIC FIEND!" Queen Bee and Chat were ready to attack, but Rena and Carapace needed to get their powers back, and fast. They went, and Queen Bee summoned her power. Attempting to get Pulso, it backfired, and she went tumbling onto the ground. She was hit by something, because she was unable to get up quickly. Then, I saw something stick out of her. It was a dart, and her Miraculous was wearing off. Chat yelled for her to get out, and she did. Chat grabbed Pulso, and pulled him down. Then it hit me. Pulso's googles, that needed to be where the Miraculous was. 
   "CHAT! THE GOGGLES!" I summoned Lucky Charm, and a pair of scissors showed up. He summoned Cataclysm, and destroyed the rest of Pulso's anti-magic kit. He was hit himself. Pulso was about to get away, but I snipped the googles off his head, and he fell to the floor. The akuma flew out of the goggles, and I quickly retrieved it in my yo-yo. I released it, and reversed the havoc. I had five minutes, and so did Chat.
   "We need to do it now." We stood on top of the Eiffel Tower. 
   "PARIS!" I yelled out. Everyone turned their attention toward me, and I saw multiple people grabbing their phones. "My name is Ladybug, and I am here to tell you of something I've been hiding. I am a magics user, both in and out of costume." Chat's eyes widened, "Look at what the Anti-Magic Counsel is capable of. Hurting those who are trying to help Paris by means of darts, gases, and locking them away! What does that say about Paris, what does that say about how we treat people?!" I balled my fists, "Is there a double standard, because I have a mask?"
   "I am Chat Noir, and I too, am a magic user." Chat stepped in, "For centuries, the Anti-Magic Counsel has separated families, have left people in hiding, and have made people for their own lives. How do they keep humanity at peace when behind closed doors, there is a whole world chaos and fear?"
   "Magic users are not bad people. They have the ability to help everyone. Magic has the ability to save lives, heal, protect, and unite all of us as a whole." I finished, "Let's use that, and stop Hawkmoth in his tracks."
   "Let's come together, and save those around us from fear."
   "Let's work together, to keep Paris safe."
   "March with us superheroes, and tell those who underestimate us that we will no longer be in hiding."
   "Tell the Mayor, and the Government that magic is good, and with it, we can built a stronger city."
   "I am Chat Noir, and I am a magic user, unafraid, and proud of who I am."
   "I am Ladybug, and I am a magic user. We save Paris from Hawkmoth, and with your help, we can defeat him in no time." People looked around, before some starting cheering, 
   "LET'S SAVE PARIS!" they shouted. Chat and I grabbed hands, and threw them up in the air. The Anti-Magic Counsel members closest to us started taking off their badges.
   "This just in," I heard the news turning on, "Ladybug and Chat Noir are starting the Magic Revolution, with the goal of no longer holding those who are magic. Now, we're already starting to see protesters in front of Mayor Bourgeois's home, where he was currently standing on a balcony.
   "BRING THEM BACK! BRING THEM BACK!" People shouted, furiously. People were already holding signs. The heroes came back. Chat and I had to detransform, and then come back, quickly. We hid in an alleyway, and Adrien hugged me,
   "Oh my God." he breathed, "We're screwed if this doesn't work."
   "It will. It has too." I teared up, "I'm willing to do anything to get my mom and dad back."
   "Tikki, Plagg." Adrien called for them, "Stay here. I'm going to buy some food. Marinette... we're going to make it." He ran into a shop that was across the street, and I began tearing up.
   "Marinette?" Tikki asked me, "What did you do?"
   "I'm getting them back, Tikki." I sniffed, "I'm getting my Mom and Dad home. I'm making a difference... while I still have the mask."
   "Oh, Marinette, I support you. Just please, be safe." Tikki hugged me. Plagg smiled in the distance, and Adrien came back quickly.
   "Eat quickly." Adrien handed them the food, and handed me a bag, "I got you something too." I opened it, and pulled out a pink macaron.
   "Oh, Adrien, thank you." I smiled softly, taking a bite. He pulled out a green one of his own, and we sat down for a few minutes, filling ourselves up quickly. Tikki and Plagg were energized, and we headed to the hotel, where we stood next to Rena.
   "You both didn't miss much." Rena mumbled, "He took a business call. Perhaps regarding your announcement. Now that you have all of Paris on your side, the Government either needs to please the public to save their jobs, or they take you away and akumas stop us from doing anything... I'm assuming the first will happen."
   "Interesting." I turned to Queen Bee, who was staring intently at the Mayor, not taking her focus off of him. She was sending mental threats. Carapace looked nervous. The Mayor slipped outside, and saw myself and Chat standing alongside the others.
   "Attention, Paris," he announced, "The Government has made a grave mistake. Influenced by those before us, we continued practices that are outdated, and inappropriate for today's world. As a Government, it is our job to serve the people in the best way possible. Given this new topic coming to the surface, it has demanded me to make a sudden call. Due to the overwhelming response in a short matter of time, it would be unfair and unprofessional to make you wait for a verdict. As a Mayor, I must look out for you all, and as a man of family, I have to look out for their future as well. I am removing ACT-AMC, and the Anti-Magic Counsel will no longer be allowed in Paris. For those in risk of losing their job in Paris's location, I am making a very special offer to the former employees. The police station has extended their courses and training to those who wish to serve Paris in a more positive manner. Store owners have the ultimate decision to open their doors to magic users, given that they do it in a respectful manner. National parks and Paris's monuments will not be open to magic yet. We need to respect the historical importance of the buildings before us, and if you can open your hearts, magic users, we ask that you do not tamper with historical art, monuments, and property. As for those who have lost family members due to the AMC's removal act, we will be accepting applications to get them back. Due to the amount of people, everybody in the capital will be sorting papers, and we will get them home as soon as humanly possible. After seeing Pulso attack an innocent girl... I can no longer stand to see such chaos. It is unacceptable, and I ask we send her parents home as soon as possible." I knew he was referring to me... Marinette... I was so happy. "As for those who have magic themselves, we welcome you to Paris, and starting today, we will be created a new line of law that not only protects those with Magic, but also allows both magic and non-magic users to live with one another. If you don't like this, then you may take your leave." My heart pounded with every clap. Chat hugged me, and I started crying tears of joy. I did it, we did it.
   "WATCH OUT!" Carapace tackled me and Chat to the roof of the building, and over my head was a swarm of black and purple butterflies.
   No, not butterflies... akumas.

   It's been a while... so hello! Let me tell you, Junior year's been a hoot and a half. Homework's been a real toughy but fall break's coming up so... hopefully I can finish this book before fall break ends! I know, the end is nearing?? I can't believe it myself. But, I have another idea for another Miraculous Ladybug fanfic that I'm sure you guys will love! Thank you all for being so patient and wonderful. You guys are incredible!
