- are you sure you didn't just fall?
Seunghee asked me for the third time.

I didn't blame her.  It was also hard for me to believe that someone had pushed me.
- I felt something touch my back.
I said.
- maybe it was a ghost?
She said, and laughed.
- I wish it was a ghost..
I said.
Seunghee just kept laughing.

- I mean it's better than the thought of someone hating me.
I said.
- I don't think anyone hates you.
Seunghee said.
- let's see..
I said.
- don't start.
Seunghee said.
- Jinhee, Hyunsung's mother, probably Kino. And I'm still not sure if Rena hates me.
I said.

- wait.. Hyunsung's mother hates you?
Seunghee asked.
- she hates everyone.
I said.
- so does Rena.
Seunghee said, making me laugh.

- I don't hate everyone, that would mean I actually give a damn.
Someone said.
Rena.. when did she come downstairs?
Was... it her, that pushed me?
- I thought you were sleeping.
I said.
- I was about to, but then I heard a noise. Did you trip on your own legs again?
Rena asked me.
- that was one time and you promised you wouldn't talk about it again..
I said, embarrassed.
- oh, she told everyone.
Seunghee said, and laughed.

Of course she did..

- someone pushed Yerin down the stairs.
Seunghee suddenly said.
She shouldn't have told Rena.. because it could be her.
And we definitely can't let anyone know that we're trying to find out who did it.
- are you ok?
Rena said, and then she suddenly grabbed my face, like she was looking for injuries.

Then she got really quiet, looking embarrassed.
- don't tell anyone I did that.
She eventually said.

- I'm gonna tell everyone.
I said.

Seunghee laughed again, and then she yawned.
- I'm going to sleep now. Let's play private investigators tomorrow.
She said, and went upstairs.
- but for real though. It's really creepy that someone pushed you.
Rena said.

- can you stay here with me for a while?
I asked her.
- let's see if we can find some wine.
She said.

We talked for a while, and I was pretty sure we would end up being friends soon.
I went back to my room, to find Hongseok sleeping.
I had almost forgotten about him. I'm happy he didn't wait up for me.

The next day I was awoken by Wooseok shooting water in my face with a water gun.
- what are you even doing?
I asked him.
- everyone has been trying to wake you up for like an hour now.
He said.
I hadn't even noticed it. I guess I stayed up too late yesterday.

- cute nightgown by the way.
He said, and grinned.
- get out.
I told him.

I got out of bed, and took a shower.
I noticed there was some scissors by the sink, so I got an idea.

I cut my hair to shoulder length, and got dressed in jeans and a tank top.
I was going to let everyone see all the bruises I had developed over the night.
And look for a specific kind of reaction.

I had planned to cut my hair soon anyways, so it wasn't as crazy as it sounded.

I went downstairs, and found everyone eating in the kitchen.
I walked in casually, but everyone was looking at their phones.
The only one that noticed me was hongseok.
When he saw me, he got up from his seat, and hurried over to where I was.
- what happened to you?
He asked.
Now everyone was looking up from their phones.
- what the heck happened to you?
Jay asked as well.
- nice hair.
Rena said, making me want to laugh.

Hongseok kept looking at all my bruises with a concerned and confused expression.
Jay came over, and started poking them.
- stop that.
I said, but i wanted to laugh.
- so, what happened to you?
Seunghee asked.
She was playing along just like we planned.
- I was hoping one of you could tell me that.
I said.

I was carefully watching them, but almost everyone just looked confused.
Only Rena and Seunghee was busy looking at the others as well.

But then I noticed something. Jae In had this look on her face that I couldn't really understand.
Could it be her?
Maybe she was jealous because of the way Seunghee treated me.

Shinwon didn't give of any kind of expression, he just stared at me.

And then there was Kino.
He looked bored. Like he was tired of giving me attention.
but.. he was probably just tired in general.

- what do you mean?
Wooseok asked me.
- nothing never mind.
I said and laughed awkwardly.
- are you seriously not going to tell us what happened to you?
Jun asked.
Damn it. What was I going to say?
I hadn't planned this far.

- I.. tripped on my own feet.
I said.
- again?
Jay said, and most of them laughed.

Hongseok suddenly dragged me out of the kitchen.
We went back to the room we shared, and sat down on the bed.
Should I tell him what really happened?

Of course I should.
I already knew he would never hurt me, so I didn't even suspect him.
- are you going to tell me what really happened?
He asked me.
- how did you know I was lying?
I asked him.
- because you talk slower when you lie.
He said.

I started laughing, but then I remembered his question.
- I can't tell you.
I said.

I wanted to find out who did it first.
But I didn't have too much time to do that today. I had plans with Yuto and Wooseok.
We were going to visit a ninja temple.
And to be honest it really was more important to me than finding out who pushed me.

Obviously.
It's... ninjas.
