- I'm serious, he actually did that.
Kino said, and laughed.
We were sitting in an ice cream parlor, talking about embarrassing things Hongseok had done. I hadn't laughed this much in forever.
- tell me more.
I said.
- I probably shouldn't.
Kino said.
- Fine.. tell me something about yourself then.
I said.
Kino became quiet for a while, so I went to get a napkin. I knew I had ice cream all over my face and Kino didn't tell me. He probably would have let me look like that for the rest of the day.
- I.. love to do girl group dances.
Kino said, looking embarrassed.
- that's actually pretty cool.
I said.
- now it's your turn.
Kino said.
- and it has to be something embarrassing.
He said.

What am I gonna say? There's a lot of embarrassing things about me. But if I tell him something too embarrassing he'll probably tell everyone.
- I.. sometimes eat chapsticks. Actually I've eaten 2 this week.
I said.
- that is pretty weird.
Kino said, and laughed.

We kept revealing things about each other, and I realized something. Kino might seem cold on the outside.. but on the inside he was pretty sweet. And funny. And it didn't seem like he hated me at all.

We decided to go back to the dorm, because it was almost 6PM. We had spent a long time together, and I was having a lot of fun, but I knew hongseok was waiting for me.
- let's go buy some snacks for movie night.
Kino said.
- I think Hui already bought some.
I said.
- yeah but if we buy some too, we can hide it and not share with anyone.
He said, and grinned.
- that's genius.
I said, and laughed.
- I know.
Kino said.

We took the bus, and went to a grocery store close to the dorm. Kino bought me a bunch of watermelon candy, which was my favorite. I even wore a perfume that smelled like the candy. After we left the store, we hurried back to the dorm.
Before we entered I had to talk to Kino about one last ting.
- why do you act like you hate me? I mean, you do most of the time.
I said.
- I.. I don't hate you.
He said.
- so why have been like that towards me?
I asked.
- because it's easier to pretend that I hate you, than to admit I envy you..
He said.
I wasn't really expecting such an honest answer.
- you kind of just admitted it though.
I said.
- don't tell anyone.
He said.
- trust me, I won't.
I said, and smiled.

We entered the dorm, and Kino ran upstairs to hide our snacks.
I went to the living room to find Hongseok. But I only found Wooseok and Yuto.
- have you guys seen Hongseok?
I asked them.
- Yeah. Every day.
Yuto answered, making Wooseok laugh.

• Hongseok's POV•

I was sitting in a cafe drinking coffee with a woman I didn't really know.

I had secretly followed Yerin and Kino to the dance studio. I had to keep my promise to Jaehyuk. He seemed so sure that the woman would approach Yerin. And he was right. Just as Yerin and Kino entered the dance studio, I spotted the woman. And then she saw me. She walked over to me, and I wanted to leave. But I just couldn't. I was too curious. I told her I knew Yerin, and that we could talk at this Cafe.
- who are you, really?
The woman asked me.
- I'm someone that cares a lot about Yerin.
I said.
- I see.
She said, and sighed.
- But why were you hiding like that if you know her?
She asked me, and took a sip of her coffee.
- that's really not any of your business.
I said.
- she's my daughter. And you're obviously stalking her.
The woman said.
- I'm her boyfriend. And you're the stalker.
I said.
- so that's it.. you have trust issues don't you?
She asked.
- I trust her more than anyone in the world. It's you I don't trust.
I said.
- my son put you up to this, didn't he?
She asked.
- that doesn't matter.
I said.
- does Yerin know that you're doing this?
She asked.
I didn't know what to say, so I just stayed silent.
- what would she do if she finds out that you're keeping this from her?
The woman asked.
- are you trying to blackmail me?
I asked her.
- I'm pretty desperate.
She said.
- do you even love your daughter?
I asked her.
- I never stopped loving her. Please if I could just meet her, and explain why I left...
She said, her voice trembling.
- I can't let you.
I said.
- I'll be watching out for you from now on.
I said, and got up from my chair.
- I left to protect them..
the woman said, but I walked away.

I got back to the dorm, and noticed that Yerin still wasn't back. So I decided to take a nap. Talking to that woman had made my head hurt.
And before I fell asleep, I made a decision. I had to tell Yerin about her mother. I shouldn't have kept it from her in the first place. It was wrong..

• Yerin's POV•

Yuto thinks he's really funny, doesn't he?
- Are you being like this because I beat you in your favorite video game?
I said, and smirked.
Wooseok started laughing, and hitting Yuto's shoulder.
- she just ended you.
Wooseok yelled, and kept laughing.
- he's in his room ok?
Yuto said, and sort of glared at me.

I just laughed and left the living room.
I was walking up the stair, and made it to the top just as someone tried walking down. I almost fell backwards, but the person grabbed me.
- I'm so sorry! I didn't do that on purpose.
It was Kino. And it looked like he was freaking out.
- It's ok. You saved me after all.
I said.
But the situation still scared me. It gave me flashbacks..

I entered Hongseok's room and noticed he was sleeping.
- He's not dead if you were wondering.
Shinwon said, making me scream. I didn't notice him being in the room.
- what's going on!!
Hongseok said, and quickly sat up.
Then he just stared at me and Shinwon.

- Seriously? This is the second time today!
He said, making me and Shinwon laugh.
