Chapter Twelve: coffee, shopping, friends, and memories

Kian's pov

I can't believe we ran into maya, our surprise is ruined!!!. We got to starbucks and got our drinks now we were just sitting and talking, she was even more funny in real life. I was having such a blast with her.

Maya's pov

We got Starbucks and sat down at a long leather couch, which was weird because I've never seen a leather couch in Starbucks before.. After about thirty minuets of talking I had to go meet the girls at the mall. So we all exchanged hugs and went our sprite ways.

*SKIPPING THE MALL*

I was walking into the hotel room with the girls after four hours of shopping she I got a text from Matt.
M-maya mt-Matt

Mt- hey pick you up at 8 okay?

M-okay, where are we going?

Mt- surprise but dress casual

M-k

And with that I opened the hotel room door to find rose petals on my bed in the shape of a heart with a card in the middle. "We'll isn't someone loved" the girls smirked. "Shut up" I laughed walking over to pick up the card. It read:

I know you laugh at cheesy, so I made it as cheesy as possible.
Dinner with me tomorrow at 8?

I did laugh after I read the card and texted Cameron
M-I love the cheesy-ness.
C- I though you would;) what's the answer
M- U MADE IT CHEESY! How can I say no now?😂
C- gr8!

Matt asked me on a date. He didn't ask me to be his girlfriend. So it was okay.. Right?
After two hours of getting ready and switching between twenty outfits I finally looked decent.

I grabbed my phone from the charger and my side bag when I heard a knock at the door. I looked back at the girls who were already giving me a stare. They are really silly sometimes. I opened the door and found a really nicely dressed Matt lee Espinosa.
