Jackson
I intensely watch the rise and fall of her chest, and her delicate features as she stiffly lays against the bed in a hospital gown.
About three hours ago, Maria bursts into my room, in tears, barely forming coherent sentences and urging me to follow her.
When I did, she led me to Marianna's room.
Whom I found passed out on the bathroom floor, her right knuckles completely thorn, and a large pool of blood forming under her arm.
I was mortified.
It was obvious that she attempted to end her life.
With no success, of course. The glass didn't cut deep enough and only scratched the surface. Though it was enough to leave her a bloody mess.
It had been over three hours since she's been unconscious, and frankly...I was worried about her.
I didn't know my news affected her that much.
So much so that she attempted to take her own life.
What have I done to her?
You ruined her life.
I didn't mean to. I just wanted to teach her father a lesson.
I_
"Mr.Kref"
I snapped out of it and directed my attention to the doctor that now stood in front of me, a notebook in hand.
I nod.
"Marianna will be unconscious for a while. It's nothing to worry about, really. She'll be fine to leave by the morning, though I urge you to keep an eye on her. She was lucky...this time"
I nod at him before averting my attention on her seemingly lifeless form once again.
I hear the doctor leave, a few seconds later.

Marianne
My eyes slowly flutter open, and instantly I'm greeted by a blinding light.
Is this it?
Am I in heaven?
A small smile creeps its way onto my lips as I attempt to speak.
"Hello" I say in a hoarse voice
I hear footsteps before the light disappears and is instead replaced with a face.
I squint a little.
The face is unfamiliar.
The old women gently smiles down at me.
"Marianna, you're finally awake" She says
Confused, I squint my eyes a little more.
"Who are you?" I ask
"I'm nurse Elsa. I've been taking care of you since you were checked in"
Nurse?
Checked in?
That would mean_
I begin squirming in discontent.
"NO" I yell
She flinches at my sudden outburst.
"WHY DIDN'T YOU LET ME DIE" I yell
Her eyes widen before she turns on her heels and runs out.
"WHY DID YOU HAVE TO BRING ME BACK?" I yell even louder as furious tears begin to stream down my face.
Instants later, I hear more than one set of footsteps begin to approach me.
A man, in his early forties, comes into view, worry stretched out across his face.
"Marianna, calm down" He insists
I shake my head no.
"I was meant to die. You ruined it for me!" I snap
He shakes his head no.
"It wasn't your time, dear" He gently says
I suddenly feel a needle begin to pierce my left arm, and when I snap my head to the left, I see nurse Elsa with a needle in hand.
"W-what are you doing?" I snap
"Don't worry, it's just so y_"
"LET ME GO" I yell
I begin squirming and attempting to sit up, but I can't.
My entire body feels weak.
I am exhausted.
I begin tiring down.
"What did you do to me?" I barely say, my lips suddenly feeling numb.
"It's just to calm you down, dear" The doctor says
Those are the last words I hear before I fall into unconsciousness yet again.
