Justin
I don't know how long I've been in here.
Maybe days.
Weeks.
Perhaps even months, since I've seen the day of light. Since I've seen my parents...since I've seen her.
Luckily, they don't torture me anymore, but they also don't feed me. I'm getting weaker by the day and I don't know how much longer I can do this for. My motivation is Marianna. I know that if I don't get out of here alive, neither will she. I'll fight until I can't fight anymore, for her.
Because I love her.

Jackson
It's been five days since I've seen her. Five days of convincing myself that I don't miss her. That I don't care about her. Five dreadfully longs days of absolute silence. The house is so empty when she's not here. It's just me, and my conflicting thoughts.
You sold her.
This is your fault!
She hates you.
No one will ever love you.
She's probably forgotten about you.
I hate the situation, but it's not like I can do anything about it. I had no choice_
Well, I did, but_
I sigh in frustration.
Maybe I should call to see how she's doing.
Are you crazy?
I reach for my phone and dial Jordan's number before pressing down on the call icon and anxiously awaiting a response.

Marianna
I roar in laughter as I clutch my stomach.
Jordan watches me in amusement.
"It's not funny"
I attempt to hold in my laughter but fail miserably.
"Are you kidding me? It's hilarious" I blurt out
"Look, I was five, okay?" he justifies
I shake my head in silent laughter.
"Excuses, excuses" I tsk
"Fine, fine. I shit my pants" He admits
I burst out laughing again.
"Not again" He mutters
"Okay, okay. I'll stop" I say
He playfully rolls his eyes.
"It's your turn. Tell me something embarassing" He says as he leans in, in anticipation
I hum in thought.
"Oh, I once farted in front of my third-grade crush." I exclaim
"That's it? Oh, come on!"
"It was super embarrassing. To this day, he still brings it up" I defend
"Boring" Jordan sings
"Fine, fine" I say as I raise my hands in defense
"I once_"
I'm interrupted by his phone going off.
"Shit" He mutters
"It's business, I gotta take it. Give me five seconds" He says
I nod.
He gets up from the living room couch and walks off.
I let out a sigh before sinking back into the couch.
It's been about five days since I got here and surprisingly, it isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Jordan keeps me company most days when he isn't at work. I'm actually starting to like it here. Too bad I can't stay forever.
I hear heels clicking and immediately sit up. There standing at the entry of the living room was Genessa. She glared at me before slowly making her way into the living room.
She's been avoiding me since I got here, so I'm surprised she's even acknowledging me.
"Listen here and listen good, bitch" She snaps
"You better stay away from Jordan" She warns
"Excuse me?" I ask, evidently confused
"You heard me. Stay the fuck away from my m_"
She's interrupted when we both hear footsteps approaching. Jordan fast walks into the room, a blank expression clouding his face. He doesn't even acknowledge Genessa and instead marches towards me.
"Jordan is everything alr_"
"Jackson is gonna come over tonight" He blurts out
As soon as I hear his name, my heart stops and my stomach drops.
"What?" I growl
"I'm sorry, I can't do anything about it. He's coming to speak to my da_"
I don't let him finish and immediately stand up.
"I-I need some air" I say without looking at either of them
I exit the room and head out to the garden, where I've been going every single day for the past five days.
When I reach Jordan and I's bench, I practically throw myself onto it, tears immediately pouring down my cheeks.
I move in to wipe them.
Why are you crying?
What if he's coming to get me?What if I have to go live with that monster again?
I shudder just at the thought.
I look up at the cloudless blue sky, as more tears begin streaming down my face.
Please god, let me stay.
Please.

Jordan
Once I'm out of Marianna's earshot, I pick up.
"What?" I snap
"How is she?" He immediately asks
"What is it to you?" I scoff
"I'm coming to see her tonight" He says nonchalantly
"That wasn't part of the deal, Jackson"
"Fuck the deal. I want to see her."
I sigh in aggravation.
"What would I tell her?" I snap
"I don't fucking know. Make something up, tell her I'm coming to see your dad or something"
"Why are you doing this to her? Haven't you hurt her enough?" I hiss
"I don't have to explain myself to you"
"Actually, you do. She's mine now, remember?" I snap
"You do what I say, or soon, Marianna will want nothing to do with you" He menaces
"And what does that mean?" I ask
"Oh please, have you forgotten that you're not as innocent as you claim. If Marianna knows even half the things you've done_"
"Done. Past tense. I'm not who I used to be anymore"
"Bullshit. You and I both know it's in our blood" He snaps
I clench my teeth.
"What time will you be here?"
