To My Son,
Daniel

     I'm proud of you, son.
I truly am, you've grown into such a great young man. It's been such a joy for me to know that you've found yourself a beautiful, strong woman to accompany you through your life, just as I had found your mom years and years ago. I know that she's proud of you out there.
Remember back when you were little, you would always tell me that you will grow up to be a loving person like I was? To tell you the truth, I used to be a bad person earlier in my life, but your mom saved me. I used to hate the world and hate people, but your mom taught me how to love and see things for their beauty instead. I was so happy when you were born, it was the happiest moment of my life. Now, I'm hoping one day you could also know that feeling of happiness.
Take good care of your wife. That is what I want you to promise me. The final responsibility both me and your mom will give you. Treat your wife like she's the most precious thing for you in this world, and love her like there's no tomorrow. But never let this blind you from reminding her what's good and bad, always vow to lead her in the right path. You should also stay humble, and listen to all her words. Remember, a woman is usually right, and does all sorts of things for the good of her loved ones. Never abandon your wife for anyone else, she deserves your full attention and love.
When you have children of your own, cherish them because you never know how fast time flies. Teach them to be loving people, and help them go through the hardships of life. Scold them only if you need to, and listen more. A father should be a good listener so he could make the right decisions for his family. You need to be protective of your children, but not too protective. Sometimes, experience is the best teacher. Most importantly, don't reject the idea of your children knowing better than you. Let them speak their mind, and listen to them as an adult. Whatever they say, listen to them. Don't make your children feel as if they don't matter, especially during their teenage years.
I believe you can do all of these things I told you. There's nothing else for me and your mom to do, we trust that you can be a great and loving husband as well as a father one day. I love you, kiddo. Love from mom too.

Your Old Man

Note: This is just a fictional piece of writing that I hope would give a fresh sense of direction for my writing. I hope the stories I wrote have all been enjoyable, and I thank you for your continuous support.

P.S. As you may know from the way I write from the previous chapters, I'm just a middle school student. I'm not a married man, or anything like that, so please forgive me if there was anything I wrote in this chapter that may seem childish or have offended you in any way.
