Rainy Day

"Thanks for waiting for the rain to stop with me," she said, sounding sleepy.

"It's nothing," I tried to sound not embarassed by the current situation.

She was sitting really close to me, most likely because of how tight the school's staircase was, but it still didn't help get rid of my nervousness.

I was just about to move a little bit away from her to prevent myself from getting more and more embarassed when I felt her head lay down on my shoulders.

I turned my head towards her gently, and found her sleeping peacefully on my shoulders.

She looked so cute with her bangs falling down her face like that. I guessed it wasn't really that bad that I had decided to wait with her.

The rain was still pouring down heavily, but somehow the only thing I could hear is the thump-thump sound of my heart

The rain was still pouring down heavily, but somehow the only thing I could hear is the thump-thump sound of my heart. I know that sounds corny okay! (¬_¬;)

I tried to change the position of my shoulder, so it would be more comfortable for her, but I ended up ditching the idea.

Somehow, even with the coldness of the rain, I didn't feel cold at all. In fact, I felt really warm.

Beep-beep!

A car had just arrived to the school's lobby, and it wasn't my car, so surely it was hers.

"Hey," I gently called her. "I think your car's already here."

"Huh?" (っ﹏-)

"That car over there is that yours?"

"Oh yeah, hey thanks for waiting with me," she said, as she was packing all her stuffs. "Hey, here's a small gift for you."

"Huh?" (´・ω・')?

She gave me a kiss on the cheeks, and she set off to the car. "Bye," she said, waving goodbye.

"B-bye!"

I didn't know what had just happened, but somehow I could feel myself getting warmer and warmer eventhough she'd already left.

Note: She was still half-asleep when she kissed him, so she wasn't fully concious of what she was doing. Still, the moment she realised what she'd done on the way home, she completely flipped out and became too shy to talk to him.

P.S. For those who are worried, they did end up talking to each other again, and well whether if they started going out with each other or not, I let it up to your imagination to decide.
