"There you are."
She was fast asleep on her desk, and I couldn't help but smile to myself.
I turned around to see what she was doing, and it turned out to be a Math exercise paper. She looked so peaceful that I didn't wake her up. I took a seat from one of the nearby desk, and I waited alongside her.
"School's almost closing kid," Ryan the Janitor came in. "You better wake up your sleeping beauty."
"Nah, it's fine," I told him. I'd known him for a long time, so he had a pretty huge amount of trust in me. "I can lock the class when I go back."
"Fine," he told me. "You two really reminded me of my youth when I was so carefree. Anyways, good day to you!"
"Yep, bye."
I stayed with her, never leaving her side. I was starting to get sleepy myself when I suddenly heard her voice.
"Wh-what time is it..?" She yawned. (っ﹏-)
"Pretty late by the look of it," I said nonchalantly.
"Heyyy, you should've just woke me up."
"Nah, you looked too peaceful. I couldn't bring myself to do it."
"Ha-ha."
She tidied all her belongings and packed them into her bag. "What're you looking at? It's already late! Go home! I don't want you getting sick," she said, starting her rant.
"Yeah, yeah."
I patted her on the head, which she responded by giving me an angry look.
"Let's get out of here," I offered her. We both went out of the classroom, and I took the key from the locker to lock it.
We both walked down the hallway when a noise suddenly echoed from somewhere deep in the school.
"What's that!?" (;╹⌓╹)
"There should be nothing at school right now, but you never know," I teased her.
"Don't scare me like that!"
I started to run, and she started screaming. "Jerk," she screamed, as she was running away from the dark hallway.
In the end, we finally 'escaped' from the school. "How was that? Woke you up yet?" I teased her more.
"Shut up! Not funny." (>□<)
"Okay, dummy," I told her. I took that moment to surprise her with a kiss. She still smelled like cinammon, and her lips felt soft.
"Don't think this makes up for what you did," she said, pouting.
"Fine, I know what will though. Let me treat you to a bowl of ramen."
"Sh-- Fine, I guess I am hungry..."
I took her hand, and we both walked down the road.
Fin.
