"Is it bad?"
"No, it's totally fine."
"No, it's not. You're bleeding because of me," she said. She had brought a first aid kit with her, and was attending to my wounds. She kept on blaming herself for asking me to come and play roller-skater with her, but it was my own fault for not wearing knee pads.
"Thanks," I told her, giving her a loving look after she had covered the wound with a band aid.
"Don't give me that look," she told me. "It's my fault. If I didn't anticipate and didn't bring a first aid kit, you would still be bleeding."
Her eyes began to water, and I immediately comforted her with a hug. She had bad memories with being blamed for many things, so I knew she couldn't stand her feeling of guilt right now.
"Come on, cheer up," I kissed her on the cheek. "You brought the first aid kit which made me okay again."
"Hm," she grunted, covering her face on my chest.
"I'm so sorry." (T▽T)
"Yeah, it's okay, Cutie," I said. I couldn't help but smile a little bit from her cuteness, and she seemed to be already feeling better. "Come on, let's head back home, the day's starting to get hot."
"Okay," she said, pouting. "I think it's better if we just walk, I don't want you getting hurt anymore."
She let me go, starting to take off her roller-skater. This was when I suddenly stood up, and with my roller-skater, I skated back to home ahead of her.
"Catch me if you can," I called out to her.
"Hey, cheater!" I'll catch you!"
She caught me in the end. (¬_¬;)
"Got you," she teased me.
We were both sitting on the park, watching the afternoon sky. I held her hand tightly, and she squeezed my hand back.
"How's your wound? It's better right?" She asked me, her eyes full of worry.
"Yeah, I am fine."
That didn't convince her, and she was about to start her rant about being the one in the wrong again, so I decided to stop her before that happened. I kissed her.
"You're annoying," she told me, after pulling away. She gave me a mad look before giving me another kiss.
Later that night, my wound had magically healed. I guessed love was the cure for many wounds.
Fin.
