"Do I look weird?"

"No, you look stunning," I told her.

We were both holding each other's hands, and I could feel my heart beating twice its usual rate. I was going to go to prom with the love of my life! I was so happy that I could jump a a thousand miles in the air!

"Thanks for asking me to prom," she told me, her eyes telling me that she was just as happy as I was.

We finally arrived at the venue, and I opened the door of the car. We both said thanks to my driver, and he gave me a wink. "Go make her happy, young master," he told me.

The venue was already filled with many other students, and I could hear the music playing from inside. I saw some of my own friends dancing with their dates from inside, and I couldn't help smilimg from the thought of dancing with her.

"What are you smiling at?" She asked me. "Don't tell me you've seen some old crush and thinking of getting back together."

"Wha-- No! I wasn't thinking like that!" I said frantically.

"I'm just kidding," she said, sticking her tongue out. "Come on, baby, let's get inside. It's getting cold."

We got inside, and I looked around to find a chair for her to sit on. I was so nervous, I started to overthink every single decision I made.

"Hey," she told me, noticing my nervousness. "You've got nothing to be nervous okay, just be you. I won't hate you for being you because you are the person I fell in love with, dummy."

"Okay, sorry. Of course getting nervous would be natural by standing really close to such a beautiful girl."  ( ∩ˇωˇ∩)

Nice save.

"Ohh, so you're saying I'm making you unable to focus. Then, is that an indirect way of saying that you don't want to be with me?" (* ̄m ̄)

Actually, bad save.

"No, no! It's not like that!"

"Gee, calm down, I was kidding. You look so cute when you're flustered like that," she said, embracing me. Her hug was warm, and I felt much calmer. That didn't last long because Mr.Brightside started playing.

When the first guitar riff started playing, the whole dancefloor went wild.

"Hey, it's one of your favorite song," I told her.

"Shut up," she said, pulling away and started dancing. "Come on, dance!"

"I'm not that great of a dancer," I told her. She gave me a look that told me that she didn't care about that, and I actually ended up dancing for the whole song. Correction, dancing horribly.

"What are you doing?" She teased me.

"I don't know," I told her, smiling at the fact that she was also smiling. "Don't judge me!"

"Yeah, yeah." (ᵕ̳ωᵕ̳)

"Excuse me."

I was grabbing some drinks for her, and I felt so proud of myself for being able to give her a good time. I turned around, but she was nowhere in sight.

"Where are you?" I said to nobody in particular. My anxiety started to rise, and I grew worried whether something bad had happened to her or not. Thankfully, I finally found her. She was waving at me from the top of the stairs leadimg to the upper floor, and she mouthed, "I'll wait for you up there." She gave me a smile before walking towards the balcony.

I found her, sitting on the garden on the balcony, looking at the stars

I found her, sitting on the garden on the balcony, looking at the stars. She hadn't realised I was there, so I decided to walk silently towards her.

"I know you there," she said, smiling. "I could hear the grass rustling, you know." (^ワ^=)

Okay, she knew I had been there all this time.

I dropped the act and laughed at my own dumb action. I walked towards her, and placed the drink next to her. We both sat on the grass, looking at the stars above, and I placed my hand above hers.

"Thanks for making my day, or I should say night," she said, turning her face towards me to reveal her eyes sparkling just like the sparkling night sky.

"Well, thank you for making my life then," I winked. I knew I was probably being overdramatic, but I truly felt happy at that moment. She stayed silent, so I continued. "Remember the day we started dating? We were both so happy, we didn't know what to do. I--"

She silenced me with a kiss. It was just a soft, short kiss, but I swore it lasted forever for me.

"Wasn't that bad," she said. "My first kiss, I mean."

"Well, mine was great." (─‿‿─)

"Shut up," she said. At that moment, we both moved closer to each other and kissed again. It lasted a bit longer this time, and then we kissed again.

"I love you," she told me, while drinking her drink. "I love you so much." She started crying.

"Hey, hey, don't cry! It's okay, everything's okay! You got me here!"

I hugged her tightly, and whispered to her.

"There's a lot of bright stars on the sky, but I think the one shining the brightest is hugging me right now."

"Cheesy," she said. "But I love it." (♡´・ᴗ・'♡)

"I know," I laughed. She hugged me back tighter, and I swore, I was so happy I could stay there for a thousand years.

Fin.
