Chapter 11 - The Beach

"Ok. I'm going to sleep" Nash said falling down on the bed. "No! Were in Hawaii! We need to do things!" I screamed grabbing his legs until he was completely off the bed.

"We can do that later" he said trying to just sleep on the floor. I then jumped on top of him. He just held me in his arms. "Fine, then I'll go hangout with someone else!" I said.

I got out of the our room, and went to the room that I heard the most noise. I knocked on the door. Cameron opened it and all the dudes were shirtless in there swimsuits. I also spotted Jenn and Lauren.

"Are you guys going to the pool or beach or something" I ask. "Beach. Want to join?" Cameron asked. "Yes please! Nash is being a bum!" I said. I started walking back to my room and Jenn ran up and went to my room with me.

We walked in and Nash was sleeping where I left him, and he was also snoring. God. "I need to make you look pretty. For Matt" she said. "I'm picking out your bathing suit" she added.

She picked out a peachy Crochet Bikini top with matching bottoms. I put a white tank top over it, that said 'Simple, is how we roll' in black. I didn't feel like putting any pants over. I grabbed flip flops and we walked out.

We all went down to the beach Jenn, Lauren, and I taking selfies on the way down. The hotel was right next to the beach and we could see it from out hotel room. "Matts totally checking you out" Jenn whispered to me, loud enough for Lauren to hear. She laughed and I just nudged Jenn.

Everybody was setting out towels and Rebecca, Andrea, and Arden texted us saying that they were going to meet us down here.

They got down and Lauren, Rebecca, and Arden all wanted to tan, I decided I would join them. After only 10 minutes I felt someone pick me up and put me over there shoulder, and they were soaking. It was Matt.

"Matt put me down!" I screamed. "Throw you in, you said?" Matt asked then laughed. Before I knew it I was in the salty water. "Aww. You suck, Matt" I said splashing him.

My one splashed turned into a huge splash fight between everyone. The waves were calmer in Hawaii they weren't as big as the ones in California.

I got out of the water and grabbed a towel. I tripped over it and face planted into the sand. They all laughed at me. Shawn picked me up out of the sand and set me down.

"I do know how to get up you know, Shawn" I laughed. He rolled his eyes. "I'm sorry about the Truth or Dare kiss" Shawn apologized. "Can I tell you something that I don't understand" I said. "Yeah" Shawn said.

"When people apologize when they kiss someone. They meant to do it, and they liked it. I don't know I just don't get it sometimes" I said. "Not saying you liked it or anything" I awkwardly added. "I did" Shawn said.

I looked at Shawn and he was just enjoying his beautiful view of the ocean. I rubbed off what he just said and just watched the others in the water.

Every once in a while I always saw Matt glance at me from the water, but quickly turn away since I was looking in his direction.

Everyone was out of the water but Jc and Jenn. Oh Jc Penny. I then laughed when I though that. "What's so funny" Cameron asked. "Nothing" I said.

We had a huge umbrella over us and most of us were sitting under it, which indeed I was. I was sitting next to Sam and Matt. Shawn got up to go back in the water and lost his spot.

All of a sudden I got super hyper. I pulled Matt to stand and randomly started dancing really horrible. They all started laughing, including Matt.

"Whatever" I said, pouting and sit back down. "No. We shall dance" Matt said and grabbed my arm and pulled me up. We started to do the tango.

We ended up just randomly dancing and them making a bunch of vines of us.

~2 hours later~

Everyone went back to the hotel, except Matt and I. I didn't want to leave so Matt said he would stay with me.

We were just sitting on the beach side by side, just enjoying everything. Until Matt said in front of me.

Matt POV

I was going to do it. I was going to tell her. We were sitting side by side, when I sat in front of her. "Melanie" I said. "Yeah?" She asked. "I need to tell you something really important. It might not mean much to you, but you mean so much to me. I've liked you ever since I saw you. When we met at the movie theater, and you were scared to watch the movie so I stayed with you. When I found out you were going on a date with Nash, I was so mad, and when I saw you guys on your date at the Carnival, I got pissed and couldn't help it. I know you probably will still be with Nash, and I'll have to get over it, but just say this I love you, Melanie" I blurted out.

She didn't say anything for a while she just stared into my eyes. Then her lips crashed into mine, it was perfect, she was perfect. She pulled away, it was a quick kiss.

She was about to say something but nothing came out and she just grabbed the bag she brought down and ran.

Melanie's POV

I didn't even know what do think what Matt told me that, it was so sweet and I loved it, and I do love him back, I'm not sure in the same way though.

I kissed him, it was perfect, he was perfect, but I pulled away because I couldn't do that to Nash. I was going to say something but I couldn't.

I was so mad at myself for kissing Matt, I love Nash so much, and it isn't fare that I did that. I grabbed my bag and just left Matt sitting there alone. I don't know, I just didn't want to have a conversation, and if we just sat there it would be awkward.

I decided to just take a walk, I didn't want to go back to the hotel, because I didn't want to see Nash right now, I'll get all awkward and he would be able to tell something's up.

I started walking, walking, and walking. After a while I kind of just got lost. I reached in my bag to call someone but it wasn't in there. I must have left it with Matt.

I find a Starbucks and I walk inside, common white girl got to have Starbucks. I got my usual drink, and waited till they finished it. I grabbed my drink and walked to the door.

Someone opened the door for me I looked up to thank him and you wouldn't believe who it was, Jace. "Ugh. Everywhere I go, you seem to be" I moaned. "You say that annoyed" he said. "Yup very annoyed" I said.

He started walking with me. I sat on a bench and he did too. "What do you want?" I asked. "A second chance" he said. "Ha! Your not getting that, anyway I have a boyfriend" I said. "What, is it Kian?" He teased. "Just to tell you Kian would make a excellent boyfriend, unlike you who cheats on his girlfriends with their best friend" I said.

"It's not my fault that Valerie had the hots for me" he said. I rolled my eyes got up and started walking away. "Yeah, and my boyfriend is Nash Grier" I turned around, then turned back around and kept walking.

"Wait, your dating Nash Grier?" He asks running up to me. "The famous viner?" He asked, I nodded. "He's lame" He chuckled. I couldn't take him anymore I punched him in the face.

Good thing we were in a alley or someone would have called the police, thinking I was crazy or something. "Get a life" I yelled in his face and just quickly walked away.
