Chp 18

We continued walking, passed the sign that read 'cable car' and towards the building to which the cable cars start. My eyes widened as I tilted my head up and up to, what looked like, a tiny building at the top of the mountain. I gulped loudly at the thought of going up that high. Jumping off a small cliff into the water isn't too bad but going all the way up there?

Sydney : omg look how high it is!

Marcus : you alright?

I jumped out of my scared moment and smiled up at him to hide the fact that my nerves were getting the better of me.

Sam : yeah, why wouldn't I be?

Marcus : no reason.

He chuckled as we made it to the building. I looked through the window as the others walked in through the door, I could see crowds and crowds of teenagers all lined up to go up the mountain. I caught site of our teachers and some of our friends who stood waiting in the line. They didn't even look worried that we were missing.

We followed Marcus and Martinus class inside the building to hear sudden screams and squeals from some of the girls in my class. I rolled my eyes as I watched them all desperately trying to get closer to Marcus and Martinus. I noticed Claire, who I didn't particularly get on very well with, reach into the arms of Marcus, taking him by surprise, before one of their teachers pushed her away.

Mrs Stern : right, take your pictures and get your hugs then move out the way cause we have a cable car to catch.

I giggled at her comment and so did the principal of our school who was also trying to keep the girls back. For some reason, even though the two teachers had never met before, I sensed a love interest between them from the way they stared into each other's eyes for a full on 5 minutes straight.

Marcus : hi there

Martinus : nice to meet you

Marcus : how are you.

Martinus : hey

They continued to greet the girls as the principal suddenly noticed Harper, syd and I in the corner of the room.

Principal : where have you guys been!?

Sydney : you left us in the bathroom.

Principal : oh em did we? Em well sorry, I didn't even notice. Just next time let us know ok?

Harper : we did.

Principal : oh well em...

Mrs Stern : right, time to load up the cable cars!

Principal : yes good idea!

He walked away, after not quite knowing what to say. We all giggled to ourselves. Sophie and Emily came walking over to us.

Emily : How-what-why!?!

Emily always says she's not a fan of Marcus and Martinus but everyone knows she is.

Emily : I can't believe Marcus and Martinus are here!!

Sophie, however, wasn't a fan but respected their good music.

Sophie : where did you guys go?!?

Sydney : long story short, Harper needed the toilet.

Sophie : should've known it was Harper's fault.

Sam : yup.

Harper rolled her eyes.

Emily : so you guys have been with Marcus and Martinus all day!
