- Noah Lancaster's Perspective -
My Brass Knuckles sink into the face of a dummy. With each blow the plastic skull dents or fractures, leaving an unrecognizable heap of plastic after 10 or so blows. It's a good sign that my strength is on point.
I glance around, seeing the usual. The Careers are laughing obnoxiously loud at something in the center of the room. Then there was Hansen, Maddox, Lennox, and.. Sarah. That's new. They were training at the range.
Kable is punting dummy heads across the room. Each one nearly breaks with the force of his kick, but they fracture into plastic rain once they hit the ceiling. One of the heads landed above Dawn, Samira, and Mariel's alliance. Samira was angered, Dawn just indifferent, and Mariel didn't really react. She never does.
Either way, it seems that there are going to be a lot of people running into the Cornucopia.
Anyway, she guaranteed that all weapons of choice for all tributes will be in the cornucopia. A lot of people will surely be going in, knowing those are their best chance of winning.
But focusing on others isn't the best idea. Time to focus on myself. My strengths. My brass knuckles start moving like clockwork, pounding the face in of another dummy.
Time to work.
- Alexander Gucci's Perspective -
I was amazed at how many vapes they had in the Capitol. It was truly staggering. I was able to bargain with the Peacekeepers of 12 to get one a while ago, and I'd gotten addicted. It seemed like three quarters of the Capitol were addicted with me.
Ah, the guilty pleasures. They'd be gone when I'm in that arena, running from that wretched cornucopia. It's a waste to go there. What's the point of having a good weapon if you're dead before you can use it?
They wouldn't tell us what our podium positions were.. at least they haven't yet. Who knows, maybe they'll be generous. I doubt it, though. The Capitol wasn't exactly generous. Their reputation had proved that.
I look around the room, sizing up my opponents. I take a hit on the vape, and I can tell some of the tributes are annoyed by it. Their loss.
