I rush down the street, keeping my eyes peeled for anyone else. I run to the injured guy, looking back at Emily. She stays at a comfortable distance from the guy. I had no idea why.
I reach the dock and hold my metal hand out for the man. He looks, confused, before taking it. I use the artificial strength and pull him up. He moans with pain, and I help carry him to one of the nearby houses. Once I set him inside, I make sure to grab the last shield he had dropped.
I rush inside the house, where Emily was sitting in an adjacent chair and the guy was holding a piece of fabric over his stomach wound. His arm had a big hole in it, which looked like it was from an arrow.
"The hell happened to you?" I ask, sitting down and holding a rag over his arm. He cringes, but tries to shrug it off.
"I fought the Careers." He says in a deep voice. "What the.. your arm!"
"Neat, right?" I ask, laughing a bit. "Wait, you know me?"
"Are you kidding?" The man questions with a smile. "Everyone in Panem knows you. Some like you more than others, but they all call you 'Smol Bean.'"
"Really?" I ask. I could get with that nickname.
"Yeah." He says. "When you came back from that traitor Eli, you wrecked the Brute Kade! It was amazing! I'm pretty sure everyone outside of the Careers were cheering."
Thoughts of Kyle, Hazel, and Katie cross my mind but I push them away. "What's your name, anyways?"
"Kable." He says. "Emily knows me, don't you?"
"Yeah.." she mutters. She looked like she was scared of him. "I know you."
"Like, a metal cable?" I interject. "You were named after a cord?"
"Watch it, Pinto." He grunts. Emily's eyes widen with fear, before Kable starts laughing. "I'll be honest, I don't even know where it comes from."
"Yeah." Emily stutters, laughing nervously. "N- neither do w-we."
"Hmm." Kable grunts. "So, why'd you come here, anyway? You weren't reaped."
"I'm saving my brother." I say, sitting down. "Speaking of which, you know where Maddox is?"
"Can't say I do." Kable states, leaning back in his seat, before it clicked in his brain. "Wait, he volunteered to avenge you..."
"And I'm returning the favor." I state confidently, and Kable smiles.
"Man, you got some gusto." Kable laughs. "I do know where Cassius was, though."
"What?" Emily questions, sitting up quickly in her chair. "Where?"
"He was in the airport." Kable says. I didn't know who Cassius is. "I kinda helped him."
"You helped him?" Emily exclaims, suspicious.
"Yeah." Kable restates, looking at Emily frustratedly. "I'm not a monster, despite your judgements."
Emily's face twists, looking somewhat embarrassed. "Um.. ok. Thanks."
I hear a bell outside, ringing familiarly. I recognized it as a sponsor. "Whose is that?" I ask, not waiting for an answer and walking outside. The parachute drops to the ground, and I open it up. There was a medical kit, and I smiled. I had answered my own question.
"I love my sponsors." Kable says as I walk inside and I hand it to him. He immediately rips the box open, talking some Hydrogen peroxide and bandages. the compound sizzled on his wounds, and he secured two bandages. He then wraps some more gauze to secure the wounds. "There we go, mostly good."
"Try standing." Emily says. He does, and he cringes as he reaches the standing position. He grabs at his abdomen wound, and I imagine what he's feeling. His core must be burning.
"I can.. I can do it." Kable says, and I'm not sure if he's talking to us or himself. He grabs his shields, cringing again when he affixed his second shield around one of his massive arms. "Ah, much more like it. Where to?"
"I'm whooped.." Emily moans. "We're in a nice house. Can we get some sleep?"

What is the game plan? RP is an option, or just a discussion.
- S A M I R A -
The jungle was alive with chirping as I sat in a city building. This one was right on the edge, and I was quite safe here. I wonder whether they'll drop the wheelspin on me. Was I just too good?
I sit up, unable to sleep. The room was getting really cold, and.. wet. Drops of water were sitting still on a nightstand, and the occasional droplet would smack me in the face. I shut that window, opening the one to the opposite side of the wind.
I knew surviving by myself in the jungle was practically impossible. My survival skills were.. limited, so I survived off of loot in the neighboring buildings. It had been working great, and I hoped my luck wouldn't run out anytime soon.
I walk downstairs, moving a dresser out of the way of my front door. wind was howling outside, and I step into the street to check. It was much worse out here, with paper flying down the street with leaves and dirt. Still nothing to worry about, since it was just wind.
I duck into a neighboring building, shutting the door behind me. My hair finally settled, and I blow on it so it would get out of my face. Inconveniently, it didn't and I had to manually push it away.
I walk farther into the store, walking upstairs. There was what seemed like old souvenirs in here. Rusted metal bits and pieces that read "Bienvenidos!" and "Visité Mexico!" lined the walls. They were rusted, and this building looked like it was from something in our history books in school.
Then I catch something out of my peripheral. There was a shining bit of metal glittering in a neighboring room. I walk towards it, and I immediately fill with glee.
I lay my hands on a Dual Bladed Sword, which sat precariously in a door frame. I smile as I grab hold of it, feeling the perfect weight distribution. I chose this weapon for a weapon.
Aside from the wind, I hear a strange sound to the north. I couldn't quite make it out, but it sounded like footsteps. Oh hell.

You may notice less interactive choices. While I'm not doing away with them, there will be less so that people cannot duck fights as well. Because if there's one thing I know, it's that You can't hide forever.
