Cassius Buvelle's Perspective

"Well, what do we do now?" Pierto asks, looking around at the various warehouses.

"We could ambush anyone that goes for her." I say. "We could use a little thing called guerrilla warfare."

"It isn't 100% Chance we win." Emily says, swatting a mosquito away. "So let's do something else?"

"Well, with the beacon, hiding doesn't work." I say. "That leaves flight as the only choice."

"Where would we go?" Emily asks, frustrated. "Because we need to put up some distance before people get here."

"I know." Pierto says, pointing to a tower across the swamp. "That's a lighthouse. It could work."

"Seems like a long walk." I point out.

"Seems like distance." Emily retorts. "That's what we need right now."

"So, lighthouse it is." Pierto says, and I have no choice but to follow them. Emily especially is a useful partner with her nature skills.

The sun finally sets, and the entire airport is shrouded in darkness. I realize staying here, with all the uncertainties in the shadows, is not a smart move. I do however see our. Weaponry. You couldn't even call it that.

"Suggestion." I say, and both Emily and Pierto look back at us. "If Emily is being tracked, we may need actual weapons to defend ourselves. These dinky knives won't do."

"So," Emily begins. "Your suggestion?"

"Raid the airport." I say. "A quick one. Just check for some stuff."

"Cassius, time isn't on our side." Emily says, craning her neck.

"Actually," Pierto begins. "He has a point."

"Yes!" I exclaim. "Yes. So, we get weapons."

"Emily, it's a good idea." He says to her. "Trust me."

"Fine, But we need to be quick." She says. "Like, 15 minutes. Or someone will catch up."

"Deal." I say, running into the old terminal. I fling open the old grass doors, and see a maze of dark hallways. Pierto and Emily are quick to follow me.

"I already don't like this." Emily says. "The Capitol rigged shit in here. I can tell."

"If you want to stay in the open, be my guest." I say, and that seems to convince her to follow me through the maze. We come to a fork in hallways, and it looks akin to a lodge. Two hallways are right next to each other, with 3 doors in each hallway and a window at the end. An abstract painting sits on the wall behind me.

"These must be offices." I say. "I'll take right. You two take left."

"Okay, I guess." Pierto says, and treks down the left hallway with Emily, and I stride through doorway number one.

Inside seems to be a storage closet. There was an old, ragged mop in the corner and various plastic containers on shelves in the back. To the left was a wooden rack, which was holding brushes, a couple of empty bottles, and a.. a machete. Perfect. That's what I needed.
