I get back to base before sunrise, ready to go end these traitors and the Trailblazers. None of them were remotely deserving of the victory. Especially Dawn. I decide that being a passive aggressive asshole over a confrontational beast is the best option here.

If there's one thing Mason taught me, it's that fucking with your enemy is usually really fun.

"Rise and shine!" I say, banging my bow against a metal pail in the corner of the room. They shoot up, and seconds later start moaning and complaining. "Quit, let's go already."

"It's not day yet." Enrique complains.

"Well, friend," I begin, emphasizing 'friend'. "We've got a goal, and our alliance is what will make it happen!"

I can tell Enrique is internally with Dawn at this point. Maybe waking them up like this didn't help, but I sure as hell wasn't gonna be stupid enough to let them fuck me over. I represented District 1.. THE BEST.. And I would perform as such.

They eventually quit moaning and got into the car, realizing the best way to do this was a morning sneak attack. They always worked in the other games I had watched, so why would it be any different here?

I wake up, still quite tired. The news of Ike was still racing through my mind, so I didn't get much sleep and I was up multiple times that night walking around outside. I see the lack of sun, and start to stand up.

I grab my crossbow and tiptoe outside as to not disturb the others. The gravity of all of this was still laying down on me. We were in the final 9, now 10 of you counted Ike. Which I did. That meant there were only 5 enemies: The Careers, Dawn, Samira, and Kable. Maybe with Ike's help, getting all of us trailblazers our could be done. I didn't want to get to the end and see them all die for me.

I'm pacing on the beach when I hear a faint engine sound from the street. My attention immediately shifts when I see a small truck driving south towards the course. Is it Ike? Holy shit, no way!

Then I take a closer look, and... it's the Careers. With.. Dawn?! God ducking heck it, Why is it always her?

If she was so persistent, maybe she did want to help after all..

I aim my crossbow and fire at the car once it gets close. The bow lodges into the front right tire, and the rims starts scraping the ground with the worst sound. I then sprint towards the building, rapidly running out of time.

"Guys, guys!" I scream, crashing into the room. The others jump up, grabbing their shot except Lennox.

"Why so early?" He asks, oblivious of the situation.

"CAREERS AND DAWN!" I scream. This gets him up, and he runs out with the rest of us. The small truck rides straight for us, with Poseidon rolling out of the drivers seat, and Dawn and Enrique in the bed. Dawn starts shooting, and Enrique jumps out.

The truck slams into our house as Dawn hops out finally. The next bit goes by in a blur as the generator explodes and knocks us off our feet with the shockwave. My ears are ringing as I watch it all unfold.
