"Congratulations." President Snow says, beckoning me to sit at a large, round table in the center of the Capitol palace. They had flown me to the Capitol, but not back to 3 yet.

"Thank you." I say, cringing at the pain on my left side. The game had given me some subtle burn marks on my left, and it didn't feel great.

"I do have a question though." She says, sitting next to me and sliding a paper. "You're a hacker, yes?"

"Um.. somewhat." I say, thrown off. "I mean, I'm great with computers.."

"Well, I have a proposition for you." Snow says, opening the paper.

"Your skills could be invaluable in finding Ike Pinto. Wherever he is, and whatever help he's getting, need to be put down immediately.

"This paper would make it so you and your family are moved to live in the Capitol, in exchange for your help in our operation to exterminate Pinto."

"How could I abandon my home District?" I ask her, and she leans back in her chair.

"Connect the dots, Dawn." She says. "Children in the Capitol aren't reaped. You have 8 siblings, yes? You could protect all of them, and find the man that fucked your game up."

"So it's win-win." I say apprehensively. I knew the Capitol was shady, and I wanted to make sure the deal was legit.

"Yes." She says. "For everyone except Pinto."

"Then I couldn't turn it down." I determine. "This will lift all my family out of poverty, though."

"Of course." Snow says, shaking my hand. "I'm glad you said yes. If you'd said no, I'd have to kill you."
