"I hate the Capitol." Quinn mutters as we sit in the road. "Goddamn them."

We were sitting on a bench near a building watching the sun rise. Or we would if the sky wasn't so cloudy. And it was soo windy. I walk out to feel the wind, my feet slamming down on the ground. The wind had gotten stronger.

"We should get inside." I say, and Quinn stands up. "Winds are insane."

"They are howling." Quinn comments, looking concerned. "Probably an arena thing."

We look towards the building, but see something surprising. And.. horrifying. Samira from District 6 was standing in the doorway, wielding a shiny dual edged sword. My heart sank, knowing that was her favorite weapon.

"Bailey.." Quinn mutters, and Samira dashes toward us. Her hair flies around in the wind, and she crosses the street. We pull our knives, ready to defend ourselves.

Samira mounts a foot on the wall and swings an edge of her sword. We dodge it quite easily, and find ourselves trying to find an opportunity to stab. I tried to stay back more, knowing I was much less nimble than Quinn. I still tried, just a little bit less.

Suddenly, the wind picked up 10 fold and knocked all of us down. Quinn held onto a cut on her chest, cringing in pain. I tried to stand up and catch Samira while she was off guard, but another horror catches my eye. A massive wave was coming from the coast, crashing into docks.

I turn and run, going in a different way than Samira. I look back and see Quinn laying on the ground. She was wounded badly, as I just now noticed the massive cut in her torso. Her shirt was stained red. I look to her in horror as she tries to stand.

"Bailey!" She screams, trying to stand. She doubles in pain, and falls back to the ground. I try to go back into the street to help, but the wind was at least 100 miles an hour by now. It was nearly impossible to stand. The wave comes closer, and I gasp. I had no choice but to run. I couldn't save Quinn in time.

"Go!" She screams, and I run. I go into a building and climb the staircase. Heavy hail and rain comes down, smashing the roof and walls. Windows crack and shatter all around the building as the wind blows harder. It was chaos, and the. the wave hits. It slams the building with such force and immediately floods the first floor. Skinny buildings all around me were collapsing.

I was grateful I had chosen a thicker one, and i kept on climbing.

The wind continued to blow against the old ship. I knew an arena event was underway, and I had a good idea. They were rare up in District 12, but hurricanes did happen.

I got deeper into the ship, puffing from my newly sponsored vape and chilling it out. This was a metal ship, and the hurricanes in District 12 were weak. There was no way that a metal ship would break under the pressure.

As I sit in my chair, I look out of a porthole window. Waves were sloshing around outside, and it was a bit worrying. The winds were still blowing hard outside, but it seemed that they just increased tenfold.
