0: The Monster of Goryeo

In the land of Goryeo, where the tyrant king lives, there is a woman named Taeyeon...

She is not a queen, nor a princess. 

She has no family, no siblings, no relatives.

However, she was an orphan, dreaming to become rich and make her name to the top. Yet she grew up a thief, stealing things that caught her eyes and she never get caught by the vendors.

All of  the things she stole are for her love of her life, who was a princess named Sooyeon. 

Despite of her actions, Taeyeon is a generous and kind. She is selfless and helped people she know.

But things changed when the tyrant king found out about her daughter has an affair with a thief...

The king hired trained assassins to kill Taeyeon, her love of her life was locked inside her room and never goes out as the king orders his guards not to do so.

The thief got away from the assassins and hide inside the dark cavern, she stayed inside and goes further to the darkness.

Red glowing orbs appeared from the dark and starts swarming around Taeyeon. They are dark bats with red glowing eyes, they bit in every parts of her until she lost consciousness...

As soon as Taeyeon woke up, she was in a prison. She remembered she was swarmed by bats yet she checked her arms, neck and legs where she felt the pain of the bite of the nocturnal mammals. But there are no bite marks on her.

Few moments later, the guards came in and take the thief out of the prison. She is dragged by the guards to the execution site, there she saw Sooyeon... who was wearing white clothes and a rope around her neck.

Taeyeon's eyes widen and tries to get her out of the gallows but the guards halted her.

She can't believe it, her love of her life, will be hanged by her own father. Sooyeon only looked at her, shaking her head a bit while her tears were falling from her eyes.

Taeyeon begged and knelt, crying before the king and asked to spare Sooyeon and kill her instead.

But the king is stubborn and selfish, he spoke a word and the ropes tightened around her own daughter's neck. Taeyeon only watched her love struggling to breathe and the groan of agony until the princess's body became limp and unmoved.

She cried out loud as her other half died. Now, Taeyeon is now to blame the princess's death.

She clenched her fist and run towards the cruel king to attack him, yet the whistling sound of arrows shot her from behind. She fell down and slowly dying.

The fresh red blood of the thief became ebony black, her wounds healed slowly. The dark awakening had just begun.

Taeyeon got up slowly and quietly, her veins emerging from her skin, her eyes red and full of anger and hate. She glared at the king and quickly pounced at him, fangs sticking out of  her mouth. She bite the neck of the king, sucking his blood, draining the very essence of his life.

The soldiers and archers attacked her at once!

She only smirked and let out scream, making them explode, splashing their own blood to the ground.

The sky went dark, other soldiers run for their lives but they are no escape in her power. She spread out her arms and dark bats emerged and attacked the other soldiers, eventually taking over their bodies and became human bats.

Slowly, she conquers the land of Goryeo. The people were afraid of her, they didn't expect that the Taeyeon they knew would never do something like this.

The generous thief, Taeyeon, is dead.

And the immortal queen reigns and terrorizes the people of Goryeo...
