"Boa is an Ancient vampire who doesn't want to get involve with the council." Irene explained to me while we sat on the couch.

"She is the only one prefer to live in a big, empty place like this." She added.

"Hey, it is the only place with no rental fee!" Boa laughed and put her feet on top of the table, making Irene disgusted by it.

"Been a while since I last seen you in a Victorian dress." Irene commented before crossing her arms then she looked at me. "I also came here to train Taeyeon with her new found power."

"Oh," The other looked at me, surprised when she heard my name. "So you're Taeyeon, the fallen vampire queen." She said, almost mocking me for that. Since Yuri and the others weren't around, I can't act like a real queen since there are two ancient vampires in front of me.

I sighed, "I know, I know... Just don't repeat it." I hold my temple before looking back at her. "If you're going to train me, just say what you want me to do."

"Uh no. When Irene says you have to train your powers, she means you have to train to become an Ancient vampire." Boa clarifies which made me froze.

Me?

Going to become an Ancient vampire?

"What? Me? Why?" I point at myself before looking at them. "Y-you're not kidding, right?"

"I recommend you for it, you're almost a millenia old vampire and vampires who reached 900 years and above should hail as Ancient vampire." Irene explained. "We were many who wanted to become Ancients but only few of us were chosen."

"Yeah, being an Ancient vampire has a very important role on keeping the balance between the living and the dead, humans and vampires. When training, you have to be true to yourself." Boa told me in a serious way.

"So... being an Ancient is not something you can own easily." I replied in her words then they both nodded. "Before you go to training, we must go to the sacred chamber where the four legendary beast spirits lies their presence in." Irene told me before we stood up from the couch then we walk to another stoned door.

Boa's blood is dripping in a basin before it opened and saw the interior of it...

There are four giant stele carved in marble in the wall, each marbled stele have legendary beasts in it: A dragon, bird, tiger, and tortoise.

"These are the Shijin! The ones represented the north, east, west and south of the world." I told them as I looked around.

"They are also the gods of their own territory..." Boa pointed the dragon, "The Azure Dragon, the god of the East. It represents the spring and trees." Then she pointed to the bird, "The Vermillion Bird, also we know as the phoenix, represents the god of the South... represents the summer and fire."

Irene then pointed tortoise next, "The Black Tortoise and A Serpent, the god of the North, holds the winter and the water." Then I looked at the tiger, "The White Tiger, god of the West, it represents the fall and the earth." I said before looking at them.

"These are the four gods who maintains the balance the peace and chaos of the world. Ancients like us balanced the living and the dead." Irene looked at the round stone slab with some kind of a ritual markings.

"Why did you take me here?" I asked them.

"To show which one of them will make you their chosen host. To see if which god would be fitting for you as your guardian." Boa explained before dragging me on the center of the round stone slab.
