A huge force made me pushed back away from her before she starts charging towards me and was about to attack me with her right fist. I quickly dodged it but I didn't noticed her elbow, which she hit it against my face as a counter attack. I groaned and fell to the ground.

So this is how an Ancient fight...

In my years getting impaled, getting shot and got cuts. I never felt being this in pain since I turned into a vampire, some parts of my body are swollen. Boa had an aggressive fighting stance and a powerful force in her as an ancient, I never thought I would be honored to get a sparring session with an ancient vampire. But this is not just a sparring session.

This is my training.

"What's the matter, Taeyeon? You got a toothache?" Boa mocked me and chuckled. I could take her mocking nature as less offensive since it is all about training. I looked at her, almost squinting before I get up from the ground and get myself a better fighting stance.

To be honest, I never actually fight someone this long. I always wanted to get things down as quick as possible. I did a few fights but my temper is really going ahead of me.

"So much for being a queen, you're not good at fighting one on one." She told me, "You're body is wobbly, you're also thin, you might gonna squashed in one blow."

I am thin... and small.

Why am I talking about my height all of a sudden?

"I was never good at fighting, I always run away, because I know I can't fight alone." I responded while still keeping an eye on her just in case she make a move again. I heard Boa sighed and drops her guard, "You will be good at it, Taeyeon..." She told me before she calls it off. I took a deep breath and sat beside her, she gave me a cup of fresh blood to regenerate my wounds and bruises faster.

"You know, I was once like you. I was once a dependent person, who cannot live without a particular group of friends who made me whole... Whenever I got caught up in a trouble, they're always the ones who faced it while they put me behind just for me to be safe." She turned to me and smiled, "What had happened is not your fault. There are times that other people's fault of the ones demise is to blame, it's not always you, Taeyeon. You can't keep blaming yourself forever and the only thing you can do is to fight for what should it be in the future and fight against the ones who wanted to repeat the history."

I looked at her with a confused look, "You sounded like you're the one who's been behind the curtains." I said.

Boa gave me a genuine smile, which I could feel that it is just a mask to cover something from her. "I have been behind in many events that occurred in the past, I made bad decisions too..." She muttered, "I got pretty wind up being one of the spirit's chosen, I was reckless and aggressive to others. I hope you this won't change you, Taeyeon. You won't like the outcome of it."

There are still more questions i wanted to ask her, but one stands out of it.

"You said there are a few of you who had undergo training of becoming ancient vampires. Where are they now?"

As soon as I asked that, Boa sighed and frowned. "There were few... but there had been a fallout recently."

"Fallout...?"

She nodded and continues to explain it to me, "There are cases that other ancient vampires were killed, over twelve were murdered and three are missing."
