A little girl run to her parents and show them what she caught in her jar. She was just six years old that time, she was happy and jolly. Her mother taught her how to be a good girl while her father taught her how to defend herself.

"Look what I got! I got a Monarch Butterfly!" She chuckles and looks at it.

"Wow! How did you found it, Joohyun-ah?" Her mother asked her, "I found her in a bush near our house." She replied.

"Really? But do you know what is the most beautiful than a butterfly?" Her father asked while wriggling his eyebrows.

"What is it, Appa?"

"You are the most beautiful among those butterflies!" He lifted their only daughter up, which made her squeal. "Appa!" Little Seohyun squeals again and hugs his father.

"And Joohyun-ah, don't cut your hair short, okie?" She told to Joohyun and she nodded.

Seo Joohyun had a happy family but not for long...

At the age of 12, her vampire instincts awakened when she saw a tiger eating a poor deer in the forest. Her left eye redden and began to attack the tiger and suck its blood, her father found out what happened.

After what happened, Joohyun was going to the living room when she heard her parents talking about her.

"What are we going to do with her, Jun? She will know what you're hiding!" Her mother spoke, sobbing in the couch. "I will take responsibility of her when it came up again. As long as we guide her, nothing bad will happen." her father told her wife.

"But it won't change the fact that our daughter is a monster..."

Joohyun's eyes widen, "M-Monster?" she stepped back and bumped a vase behind her and fell. Her parents went over and saw Joohyun is tearing up in the corner, she heard it and sobs. "I-I'm a monster, eomma? Appa?" she asked them.

"No, you're not, baby angel." Her mother went over to her and hugs her. "B-But you said that I-I'm a monster."

"No baby. You're not a monster." She was still hugging her and her father hugged her too. "You will not become a monster, Joohyun." He told to their daughter.

Joohyun opened the closet to see her both parents were killed by a group of vampire. She kept quiet and covers her mouth not to make a sound, she sobs quietly.

"Burn this place and find their child." He told the other vampires and burn the room then left. Yet she saw the face of the vampire who command to kill her parents. It was him.

Seohyun gasped and sat up from a bed, she groans as she saw her left arm had a bandage. Her eyes starts scanning the room, it was old English style made from oak wood and the bed is colored in red with gold textures with it.

She remembered she was chased by the groups of Jae Bum's vampires and in her last minutes, she was rescued by Yoona and Yuri. They were on patrol if there are hostile vampires near the mansion.

A door opened in front of her and she saw Taeyeon coming inside the room, she gulped and moves away a bit as she felt her presence.

Taeyeon closed the door and leaned on it as she crossed her arms then looked at the younger woman with cold, sharp stare. "Seo Joohyun, was it not?" she said coldly.

The young half-blood just went silent while the queen still looking at her. "You know why you are still here, alive and breathing." she said, "You are with Tiffany these last few days, did you report to the hunters where we are?"
