"Dammit, where did that midget go?" I scratch my nape and stretch my arms.
Taeyeon was gone this morning, without a permission. And I was worried. I get my phone and called Sooyoung, "Hello, Fany!" she answered.
"Soo, do you have any idea where the queen go?" I asked. "Queen Taeyeon's not there?"
"Yeah, she was gone since morning." I said. "That's strange, where did she went?" she asked, "That's what I'm asking! I thought you know where she is!" I responded then sighs.
"Well, I think she need some time alone? Queen Taeyeon sometimes do that whenever she feels solemn or bored." Soo explained. "She'll be back soon, don't worry too much."
"If anything happens to her, your friends will take the blame on me." I grumbled.
"Nah, the queen is strong. She'll be back before you know it." Sooyoung chuckled. "You better be, flagpole." I said.
As soon as I hang up, a doorbell ringed and I quickly run to it. I opened the door and someone quickly hugged me.
"Oh shoot--" We fall down on the floor, "Jessica Jung!" I said with with a giggle. "Missed me, babe?" She smiled.
"You're such a sudden cuddler." I chuckles and she help me get up. "How was your business in California?" I asked. "Boring, too much paper works and dresses that need to arrange." She pouted, "I came back here because I missed you a lot."
"Aww, you're so sweet Jessi!" I pinched her cheeks. "Ow!" she whines and rubs her cheeks.
"How was life without me here?" She asked, "Fun but still bored-- Oh! I have a new roommate!" I smiled as my eyes went curve. "Is it a boy or girl? I would ship you if it's a boy!" She said.
I shake my head, "Nope, it's a she. And her name is Kim Taeyeon."
"Oh... so, where is she?" Jessica asked while looking around. "She's out for something, but she'll be back soon." I responded.
"You must be tired from getting in here." I went to the kitchen, "I should make you a hot chocolate." Then I get the ingredients and make a hot chocolate. "I thought you have a boyfriend." Jessi spoke.
"No, I didn't. I'm still not ready, you know." I chuckled and give the mug of hot chocolate to her. "Thanks." Then she took a sip, "Hmm, your chocolate is still delicious as ever." She smiled.
"Are you still going to work here?" I asked. Then she shakes her head, "Nope. I need a long break."
"Why?"
"Because I want to spend time with you, of course... and with your new roommate." She chuckles.
I don't think Taeyeon will get along. She's always has a bit of apathetic attitude towards humans. I don't know what will happen if they meet each other inside my condo.
"You're not looking for a job again, didn't you?" Jessica said.
"I'm not. I just quit from an agency last six months." I responded.
"Sooo... about your roommate, what does she look like?" She said while tapping her finger against the marbled counter. "Hmm, well... She's short-- maybe 5"2, her hair is black, she looks like a teenager, she has natural beauty and always wearing long sleeves." I described Taeyeon to her.
"How old is she?" She asked again. "She's 25 years old."
Jessica only nodded and took another sip of the hot chocolate.
