24: Best of Friends

In the deep dark cave, the vampires fought each other. The sound of groaning and hissing in pain can only heard inside the place. Clanging of blades and metals, seems it never end.

They were outnumbered, but they could handle the heat of the battle. They are skilled to kill and defend themselves and their queen.

Taeyeon never thought Jae Bum's men are so many, looks like she underestimated him.

"Go! We'll handle them here!" Yuri, Sooyoung and Hyoyeon stayed in one are to stop them from catching on Taeyeon and the others.

When they got to another level, Sunny, Yoona and Seohyun stayed to delay the other enemies.

As Taeyeon got through the final gate of the sanctuary, she stopped...

In front of her is the snake that had been slithering on Tiffany. She clenched her fists as her anger starts to light up inside her, "Jae Bum..." She starts walking towards him. Jae Bum only smirks and looked  at her, "The queen of the bats, you know I have always expecting you to be here today." he spoke.

"I'm not in the mood to talk to you," Her eyes redden in anger,  "I'm here to finish you, once  and for all."

He laughs a bit and cross his arms, "Try me."

A shadow appeared from nowhere and almost cut her in half if she didn't avoid that quickly and rolls over, "What in the--" she stopped in her words as she saw  who had  attacked her.

It was Tiffany.

She is filled with anger and rage, her raging aura starts to appear all over her and the ground they were in is shaking a bit because of her.

Jae Bum smirked at the actual event that he sees right  now, "This is interesting." he walked backwards while seeing the two of them. "Let's see if you can kill her first  before me." then he disappeared to the shadows.

"Tiffany..." She spoke while walking towards her, "Before you kill me--"

"Miyoung is my name!" The woman shouted before she rushes towards the smaller woman and swings her blad at her, Taeyeon quickly dodged her attack and steps back. "Listen to me! Jae Bum is just using you!" She told Miyoung before dodges again as the other attacked again.

"Why do I need to hear it? He is the one helping me to kill you!" She grabs the gun and shoots at her, the queen dodged the attack once again and pries her hand away to avoid the blade from grazing her skin.

"You have to listen--"  her words got cut off as Tiffany is fast and quick. Taeyeon can only dodge her attacks as  she can't hurt her, the older vampire bumped against the wall. She was going to tilt her head to see the dead end but her blade is faster than her eyes and managed to scrape blade on her left cheek.

She hisses and jumps away in a distance before looking at Tiffany, "Miyoung, I know the feeling of it. We lost the one we both love." she told her.

"I maybe the reason why she chose to die--"

"Chose to die?! She never wanted that fate if you were the one to die instead!" She starts shooting silver bullets on her, Taeyeon dodged some but she cannot avoid the other bullets. She groans and steps back, few blood had been dripping from her and she looked at her.

Taeyeon could remember what Sooyeon had told her the night before she died, "It was her decision, even though I was ready to face death..." she looked at her as tears starts falling from her eyes.

"I once had hatred on your father because Sooyeon died because of me, I..." She clenched her fist, "I killed him because of it and now the consequences fell on me when Jae Bum-- that snake, betrayed me just to take control of this land."

Tiffany rushed towards her and swing her blade on her, the petite woman tried to dodge it but because of her wounds she inflicted from the silver bullets, she was grazed on her left shoulder. Taeyeon shouts in pain and steps back before falling on the ground, "You can kill me now but heed my words, M-Miyoung. The one who helped you is the one who will use you in the future..." She told her before looking at her.

"Sooyeon doesn't want you to be like this and so do I." Taeyeon added while Tiffany was walking slowly towards her, she gets her gun and fills it with a potion she got from this area. "I don't want to hear your lies, Taeyeon." She aims her head and slowly pulling the trigger.

"MIYOUNG!"

A hard fist punched on Tiffany losing her focus on Taeyeon as Sooyoung tried to stop her friend. The taller woman stopped Tiffany as she caught both of her wrist, "I can't let you do this! Listen to me, this is not you!"

"I am not Tiffany, you monster!" She kicked Sooyoung away from her before getting her gun and tries to shoot Taeyeon but she missed it when the taller woman tries to get grip on her. "You might not be Tiffany but you are not also the Miyoung I once knew! Stop this and think this through!" she told her while she is struggling to hold her off.

"This is not Princess Sooyeon had wanted for you!" Sooyoung lost her grip and was pushed away from her.

Tiffany punched Sooyoung several times, "Who are you to say that?! You submit yourself to the one who killed my sister and father!"

The taller woman got a chance to caught her fist, "Because I know Taeyeon needs someone who will make the kingdom to prosper for the sake of your sister!"

"LIAR!" She gets her blade and raised it and was about to plunge it on Sooyoung's chest.

Taeyeon got her chance and pushed Tiffany away from her, she tries to ease the pain and fell down from the ground. "My queen!" Sooyoung rushed to her and tries to get her up, seeing her wounds inflicted by Tiffany.

"Miyoung... choose the right person who you're going to trust..." Taeyeon spoke while clinging on Sooyoung as she was injured. "Don't say I didn't warn you..."

Sooyoung turned around, seeing Tiffany was about to pull the trigger.

"Go to hell, Taeyeon." then she pulled the trigger.

"I'm sorry, my queen." The taller woman throws Taeyeon off the cliff down the the underground river. Her eyes widen as she was thrown to the river, "NO! SOOYOUNG!" Taeyeon cried out.

She was the one who got shot three times in her chest, "M-Miyoung-ah... you should s-stop it because revenge will reward nothing but guilt--" then she walks backwards while looking at her friend.

"We're best of f-friends, r-right?" she smiled for the last time as she closed her eyes before falling off the cliff then to the river.

The picture of the two of them dropped on the ground, she picked it up and her eyes widen.

Tiffany froze and saw what she had done, then drops the gun before kneeling on the floor. She had done it and now it's gone.
