The rendezvous of excuse

Hercules POV

I arranged for Aaron to come to school earlier in the fountain. There is no one at this hour though. I don't know if he will come, but I have hope.

I sit on the fountain waiting for him.

"Hercules?" I gasp at not having seen him arrive.

"Burr ???" I see his look and empty as if he was going to die.

"What do you want?" He asks without emotion.

"I want to forgive myself." I say embarrassed. I'm bad to apologize. His eyes change, his eyes resume a little life. He looks at me confused.

"To forgive you ???" He says still not understanding what I mean. I nod.

"Yes, I'm sorry for all the times I hit you. I thought you were hurting Alexander. To make me forgive you can hit me ... I ... I'll tell nobody." I say. He walks towards me without any expression and raises his hand. I close my eyes and wait for him to strike me.

Burr POV

For once! I can take revenge for all he did to me!

Hercules POV

I feel an arm around my back and a hand around my shoulder. I open my eyes and see him smile.

What?

"Hercules, I will not hit you because you want to protect one of your friends." I look at him confused. He moves away and stands in front of me.

"I know you just wanted to protect Alexander from me, I don't want to hurt anyone who helps his friends." He says with a smiles.

I don't believe it, I did so much harm and he doesn't even want revenge for what I did him !!! I was really wrong about him.

He holds out his hand. I still look at him as confused as before.

"If you want, we can pretend that none of this happened," He says with a smile. I hesitate, but I take his hand and smile back.

The appointment was too early, I wanted to talk to him and then found my friends and go to class. But I notice that I have to stay with him. I sigh and sit on the edge of the fountain. He follows me and looks at me.

"I'm sure Lafayette likes you." He says with a smile. I'm blushing.

"WHY DO YOU SAY THAT TO ME!!!" I ask embarrassed.

"I heard James talk to you about it. " He says.

"Ah! Yes. James doesn't know how to shut his mouth. " I whisper. He is laughing.

"You are right. We must not confide a secret to him." He says between his laughs. I'm laughing with him.

And we start talking about how untrustworthy James is.

"I was really wrong about you," I say, smiling at him.

"Me too." He says in laughter.

«Aaron??? Herc???» Says in a familiar voice. I lift my head and see Alex. Laf and John behind him. I smile at him.

"Hi Alex!" I say.

"What are you doing together ???" He asks completely lost.

"I gave him an appointment to apologize." I say. Alex widens his eyes.

"Is that right?" He said looking at Aaron. He nods, smiling.

"And of course I forgave him." Aaron says as if it were obvious.

"Thanks, Herc for apologizing and thank you Aaron for forgiving him." Alex says with a big smile. I smiled back.

"No problem." Says Aaron.

"I have to go, I don't see James anywhere, I'll call him." He says, waving his hand away. I do the same and join Alex, Laf and John.
