Thomas POV
James went to the nurse.
During class, I kept telling myself that it's my fault.
* at the recreation *
James puts his arm around Aaron. He and James sat on a bench. I saw Dolley heading towards James. I approach to hear them.
"James, are you all right?" She asks. James doesn't say anything.
"I know you do not want to talk to me, but ... I just want to know if you're fine," She says. James smiles at him and nods. She smiles at him and leaves.
* After classes *
James and Aaron went off together somewhere. I go back alone to my dormitory.
* Time skip *
The door opens, I hear it from my room.
"Aaron, put me on the floor, you're going to break your back," James says jokingly. Aaron smiled at him.
"Mmmh....no," Aaron says.
"Aaron !!!" James says. Aaron laughs.
"Thanks for accompanying me," James says.
"You're welcome Jemmy," Aaron says, trying to mimic my voice. James laughs.
The door closes.
The door closes.
Ring Ring!
"Hello?
"How did you get my number?" Asks James.
"Ah! My cousin, "James says.
"Yes, it would be nice if you come," James said.
"Au revoir," James says in French.
I leave my room and see James reading.
"James?" He sighs.
"What, Jefferson?" Asks James coldly. It hurts me when he calls me that.
"Are you still mad at me?" I ask him.
"Of course I'm mad at you now, because of you, I'll probably have crutches," James says. I feel bad.
"Thomas....I can't stand your jealousy, I think we should take a break," He says.
"Wh...What?" I ask. He can't do that to me ????
"I'd like to take a break in our relationship," James says.
"What??? Why? "I ask him outraged.
"I...I don't want to be with someone I always have to say where I'm going, where I am. I want to be able to go out, without see you get angry with you for any reason, " James says.
"I'm sorry, I'm...I'm going to change, please don't leave me," I say.
"Thomas, I'm not leaving you, I'm just taking a break," He says.
"Why?" I ask him.
"To take stock," He says. I don't want to lose it, not yet...if I lose it...it will be my fault.
He goes to his room and comes back with his bag.
"Wh....where are you going?" I ask, terrified.
"I have to go to Laf's dormitory to help him revise," He says.
Lafayette and James will be together. And I will be alone.
