I wake up and swiftly punch Damien in the jaw.

"What the hell?!" he rages, falling away from me.

I clench my teeth, glaring at him. He interrupted my dream with my soul mate! He must pay.

All i saw was red as I strolled menacingly towards him. He crawled backwards on his hands and knees as I get closer and closer.

"Maia, what is it? What's wrong? Are you okay?" he asked hurriedly, shaking with fear.

I growled at him. I could feel the Haze inside of me making an uproar, chanting for me to kill him.

"You interrupted my dream. That's the only I time I get to see him, you ass!" I roared, picking him up and throwing him across the room.

He hit the wall hard. I watched as he struggled to stand before walking towards him. Rage was all i felt as his wide, scared eyes stared at me.

"End him," a voice hissed in my mind.

I blinked, the red in my eyes fading quickly. What just happened? When did I wake up? Shaking my head, I flicked my gaze down to his.

Damien was cowering below me, and I could see the fear in his eyes. What happened to him?

My eyebrows furrowed. "Why are on the floor?"

He stared at me in disbelief. "What am doing on the floor? The better question is why you flipped out on me this morning because I woke you up!"

I looked at him like he was crazy. "You're hallucinating. I did nothing to harm you, Damien."

He just shook his head as he slowly stood. I tried to help him up, but my hand burned him. Oh, yeah, Brex put a charm on me. I almost forgot.

He glared at me. "Have you figured out why I've been getting third degree burns from you?"

I chewed on my lip. Should I tell him the truth? Probably not. He may not take that well. So, I lie.

"No," I answer, hoping he doesn't notice the obvious lie.

He shrugs and starts to unbind his hands. I hand his gun to him and help him stand. he go outside where I hava a can set up a yard away. He held up his gun slowly, but dropped it, shaking his hand. Good thing it was still on safety.

I rolled my eyes. "You're still not healed. Great."

He gave me an apologetic look as I sauntered back in the suburban home we had crashed in to hide from the Hazers. I climbed up to the top bunk and snuggled into the covers.

"You're going back to sleep? You just woke up," he whined.

I glared at him. "Well, you interrupted my amazing sleep."

He chuckled as I snuggled deeper into the covers and quickly fell back to sleep.

***

A soft voice whispered in my ear. "Hello, Maia."

I smiled as Brex's arms wrapped around my waist. I kept my eyes closed as he gave me a tight hug from behind.

I turned around and slowly opened my eyes. Brex's glowing blu eyes gazed into mine, showing a smile in them.

"Back so soon?" he asked, hugging me tight.

I nodded. "I told Damien to leave me alone. Sometimes people get on my nerves, especially if I'm woken up from an amazing dream.""

He chuckled, still smiling widely at me. "I'm glad you think so, because you won't have to worry about them for long."

I looked up at him curiously. "What do you mean?"
