Public Displays of Affection.. Sort Of

I walked into the room with coach Bamboo. We've been rehearsing for the past 4 days everyday whenever I get home from school- and let me just say that I was definitely glad I joined this team.

"Okay, amazing practice, but don't make your voice so high when you're singing the line 'We'll never be as young as we are now'. Okay? Start over", he instructed.

(Skipping that part bc takes too long lol)

"Perform like that all the time and you'll win this competition", he said proudly. 

I ran to Emma in the dressing room and she shoved my my clothes. " You have 3 minutes. Hurry ", she warned.

I slipped on the new skinny jeans, ruffled tank top, and the denim vest.

I quickly got out and walked to the stage entrance. " This is it", Emma whispered.

"And here we have the female Cebuano Charmer", Ate Alex started. I laughed at my intro and she continued. "Sydney Gonzalez!"

She left the stage and gave me a little high five. The music stared to play and I slowly walked to the front of the stage.

I pulled the microphone close to my mouth and started singing.

I took a deep breath and he gave me a nod.

I finished and the crowd went wild. I looked around to see people holding up the letters of my name. "My gosh", I whispered.

I looked to the judges and they were all standing up, clapping. Standing ovation pa ah.

"That was amazing", Coach Lea commented. " I agree", I heard Ms. Sarah say.

" I told you to work on it and you did. That was fantastic. Ready na ready ka na", he gave me a thumbs up.

"There's also someone here who begged me to see you after you perform", he winked.

My heart was beating fast and I was so nervous. Everyone cheered as the one and only Juan Karlos came out.

" She's blushing!" Ms. Lea laughed. She and coach Sarah continued to tease me as Juan Karlos gave me a hug.

"I'm gonna kill you", I said through my teeth. I tried to give off the vibe that I was happy to see him.

"That's so cute. They look adorable together!" Coach Bamboo laughed.

I blushed as Juan Karlos gave me a kiss on the cheek. The crowd erupted in cheers and squealing.

I smiled and Juan Karlos winked. "I never noticed that you have dimples. "

I looked over to the camera men and they were gesturing that it was a commercial.

Dammit I think I'm falling for Juan Karlos.

it's short I'm sorry but I have major writers block and I already updated today soo yeah lol okay so I will update Wednesdays and Fridays, but if I'm not lazy then I may update everyday
