We arrived at my apartment for quite a nice surprise. The Devil and his mistress at my doorstep a.k.a Mommy and Daddy. I might be a little harsh but they weren't exactly the best parents in the world. It's one thing to have aspirations and it is another to live your life through me. I will never accept it and as long as they continue to do that I WILL continue to rebel. My siblings gave off murmurs of a greeting in response to their lackluster greeting.

"Parents" I acknowledged.
"Son", they said in return.

"What are you doing here?" the question was thrown out into the lion's den. Sure enough, they pounced.

"What do you mean what are we doing here?" my mom asked. "We're here to see you honey." she followed up. Interesting.

While my mom and dad greeted Jade, Jaden, and James; I sent a text to Haley.

JEREMY: I guess you're meeting the rents a lot earlier than expected. You can bring Sasha along if it makes you feel comfortable.

HALEY: WAIT...WHAT?!!! I'm not ready for this yet. I barely know your siblings. Sasha is most definitely coming. Or I can wait until the next time they plan visit comes around.

JEREMY: Great, so I'll let them know we're picking you guys up along the way.

HALEY: Jeremy!!! UGH!!! 😡😡😡🤬🤬

JEREMY: Thank you 😘😘

"So....mom...dad we are picking up my girlfriend along the way. Her name is Haley and you're going to treat her with respect tonight. I also invited her best friend Sasha as well. So whatever restaurant you planned to go to book enough for 8 people." I informed them.

"Oh! Okay what happened to Madeleine" asked my mom.

"Like I said that last time you were here she is irrelevant to my life" I replied.

"I'm going to wash up and get dressed. Let me know when you're ready" I replied with a sigh.

My family settled themselves on the couch while I went in the shower to think about the long day I have had so far. My day is barely over and already I have a girlfriend (which is a good thing), ex issues, my siblings show up, and then my parents. How can this possibly get any crazier.

1 hour and 30 minutes later.

"okay the car is out front if you are all ready to go" my dad's voice boomed throughout my apartment. We decided to go to a casual fancy place to spend our dinner together. Honestly I only agreed because they have the best shrimp and crab linguine. It's just...man there are no words.

Not even thirty minutes later, we reached Haley and Sasha's dorm. I got out of the car and walked up to their dorm. To be honest, no one could have prepared me for the sight that I would see once that door opened. Damn I have great taste. Haley looked absolutely amazing in a gold laced cocktail dress and gold wedges. Sasha was dressed down in rose gold cocktail dress and silver heels. They looked absolutely stunning. Made me wish I dressed up a bit more.

I walked up to Haley and gave her a kiss. To say she was surprised is an understatement.

"Hi beautiful" I greeted in a deep baritone voice.

Haley blushed and responded with a meek, "Hi".

"Hi Sasha," I was finally able to greet after getting in my full share and look of Haley's body and outfit. "You guys look great".

"Thank You" they giggled.

"Let's head downstairs. Are you guys ready to meet my parents?"

"NO" yelled Haley and Sasha as they fidgeted around because I reminded them of that little tidbit. I laughed as we walked down the hallway; one step closer to reaching the car with the guest of honors.
