Minx paced back and forth obviously irritated, I had just explained everything to him.

"You know none of that would have happened if you had just stayed in the house.." he glanced at me.

"I thought a walk would have helped me stay up.." I sipped a hot cup of tea minx had made me, we were currently in my room, minx pacing around while I was curled up in my bed, not by choice, minx had actually wrapped me up in like 3 blankets and made me wear warm clothes and even have a hot shower, all because he was worried I would get a cold from being in the rain.

"Well obviously you were wrong" he snapped making me jump in shock.

"How am I meant to protect you if you make it so fucking hard to y/n?"

"Don't apologize I don't wanna hear it"

"I wasn't-"

" y/n I just said I don't wanna hear you apolog--"

"I WASN'T APOLOGIZING YOU MORON!"

Minx jumped and looked at me wide-eyed.

I took a deep breath trying to calm myself down after my sudden outburst. "What I was trying to say was, minx you're an asshole."

Minx's eye twitched "why you little-"

"Let me fucking finish. You're an asshole BUT thank you for finding me. I don't know what would have happened if you didn't.."

His cold and angered expression softened.

"But I understand why you would be mad at me.." I let out a small breath and finished my tea before setting the mug aside.

Minx sighed and sat on the bed "minx what are yo-"

"Shut up" he pulled me into a hug and laid down making my eyes widened and my face grew slightly hot "just go to sleep okay?... If it seems like you are having a nightmare I'll wake you up..."

"O-okay.." I closed my eyes hesitantly and relaxed.

"Don't worry y/n I'll keep you safe... I promise.." his words began to fade as I started to fall into slumber, my eyelids too heavy to even attempt to open.

I had not been able to peacefully fall asleep in days but for some reason, I felt at peace in minx's arms.

I stood in the dark looking through y/n's bedroom window.

seeing y/n in that feral cat's arms made me fill with rage, how dare it touch what i own.

Just seeing her look so at peace in its arms makes me want to rip out its heart and crush it under my shoe.

I took in a deep breath. "Calm down.. You can get what's yours in due time..." and with that i left.
