My vision was surrounded by darkness, the familiar sound of a piano play a beautiful emotion filled melody swimming around the room filling my ears with its breathtaking sound.
My eyes fluttered open and my eyes adjusted to the dim lighting, I was once again in the dark lit piano room, but this time I could fully move, I slowly sat up and looked around until my e/c orbs landed on the tall demon who sat at the piano, his eyes never leaving the keys before him.
Without a word I slowly stood, my body felt lite, any sign of my fever that I once had gone. I quietly made my way over but stayed cautious, who knew what he was capable of.
Once I got closer a stood by the piano, the enchanting melody louder and more emotion filled, the tune made me feel saddened and heartbroken, but something about it also made me feel anger and envy.
I watch as his fingers hit each key elegantly, not a single key sounding out of place. For someone any fear for this demon that I once had slipped away.
I looked over at him, his black hair covered his eyes, his lips slightly agape as he focused on his enrapturing music piece. I slowly sat next to him but I didn't dare look away, he was in a black suit that defined his features perfectly, how could such a perfect creature exist?
For a faint moment, I could have sworn I saw I tear slip down his cheek, but it must have just been my imagination, after all.
Demons don't cry... Do they?
It wasn't long before I realized the music had stopped, I was too busy staring that I didn't notice his hands laid flat on the keys he once played so beautifully.
"I-im sorry for interrupting.."I spoke sheepishly, my fear and anxiety began to return.
He glanced my way and let out a deep sigh. "You interrupted nothing, I summoned you not the other way round.." his voice was hoarse and his once enchanting eyes dullish.
I nodded slowly "you play beautifully." I turned to look at the piano, my finger gently sliding over a key.
He didnt respond, all he did was stare emotionlessly before speaking. "Do you play?.."
I looked at him with slight shock "n-no, but I am a huge fan of piano... My mother used to play.." I smile sadly, the faint memories of my mother sitting at her old piano playing me and my father beautiful melodies, my heart sunk slightly after mum died dad had sold her piano because he needed the money, I have never forgiven him for it.
My thoughts were cut short when Corvin placed my hands on the keys and moved in closer, all I could smell was him, he smelt of lavender ashes and oddly enough sandalwood/pine.
His hands gently laid over my own smaller hands, I looked up at him slightly before he began to guide my hands, helping me hit each key perfectly.
I looked at our hands and smiled faintly, he quietly hummed a familiar tune, where had I heard it before?
I closed my eyes and let myself drown in his scent and the music when small flashes of my mother popped into my head, they were of her doing daily house chores while humming an old lullaby she would sing to me whenever I was in a bad mood or going to sleep.
My lips tugged into a smile of saddened happiness, my heart filled with love, I swear I could feel my mothers loving warmth once again.
Eventually, the music sadly came to an end, the warmth of my mother that once engulfed me, left. my heart felt as if it had been shredded to bits, when suddenly the warmth was replaced by a new warmth, one that had a cold lilac aura to it.
The warmth that now held me in its embrace was both calming yet had a sense of danger to it, I slowly opened my eyes to see who this warmth belonged to.
