Chapter 22

Hot water caressing my skin, my long hair floating on the surface of the water. Maybe i should get a haircut.

It is truly the perfect bath, sure i am in pain, but the pain is drifting away the more i sink into the comfort of the water.

I wish my mother was here, she would probably know what to say, she would give me a sweet smile, a warm tea or hot coco, a kiss on the head and a calming lullaby. She was the worlds most perfect mother, my father, not so caring. Not after mum left.

Don't get me wrong, he was a great father when he had to be, but after mum passed, he kinda just drifted away.

Letting out a sigh I opened my eyes, staring at the tap, watching water droplets hit the water, a ripple effect each impact.

Maybe i should visit him, nah he wouldn't remember me.

Slowly and wearily getting out of the bath, i pull the plug and watch the water drain, i'm not sure how long i had been in the bath for, probably and hour, it was a needed bath, well needed. Besides.
What would minx do? Complai- who am i kidding of course he would.

Limping to the door, i open it. My eyes landing on a taller figure, of course it was the one and only minx, his arms crossed and his body tense, was he waiting for me?

"I thought you died"
"Could have knocked"
He shrugged in response, upon closer inspection, minx wasn't half bad looking, his arms toned but not too muscular, his shoulders broad, his chest abit puffedas he tries to express his mood, annoyed. His skin was a light tan, his hair falling just short of his eyes, his amber yellow eye really complimented his short temper, while his blue eye compliments his hair which was a nice raven black with a large strip of a light greyish white.

"Stop staring"
My eye's widened and i looked away "shut the fuck up i wasn't"
"Wow no wonder you are single, you're a creep and have anger issues"
"No maybe i just don't like men"
"Mhm"
I rolled my eyes and began to limp away, but before i got far minx began to assist me. "Im not disabled"

"Physically you are, mentally? Wouldn't be surprised"
"Well aren't you just lovely company today"
"Better than that annoying vampire"

"He isn't that bad"
"He tried to bite me"
"Hey be flattered, it means you are delicious, and if im lucky enough he will eat you" he didnt respond, he just huffed and helped me downstairs to the couch, good this i got dressed into a black singlet and pj shorts.

To my surprise minx was rather gentle when helping me get on the couch, he even put my leg on a pillow. "Thank you"
"It's my job, don't think about it too much"
"Where's Seren?"
"Sulking on the floor next to the couch'

As if on cue Seren peaked his head over the arm chair, his eyes just barely peering over, i couldn't help but lean over to see him fully
"He hit me" he pouted, i held back a laugh.

"Not my fault, you tried to bite me" minx grumbled obviously irritated, i swear this house is gonna get torn to shreds if this man loses his temper fully, well at least it isn't as empty and lonely as it used to be.

Getting comfy i pat Seren's head, i was still iffy on him but we will see how things go, after all minx says he is here to help, although i can hear the trust issues minx has from a mile away.

Not long after the two are bickering, Seren whining that he is hungry. Well was whining, minx shorty slammed Seren's mouth onto his wrist "IF YOU EAT WILL YOU SHUT UP"

Seren happily munched on minx's arm and i had never seen someone look so childishly happy, it made me smile and let out a snicker, minx shot a glare at me. I squeaked and laid down, going back to watching Tv. not long after i slowly drifted off.

Minx Pov:

I have never felt so frustrated in my life, why did she let him tag along? This blood sucker has the attitude of a 6 year old, and on top of that i'm pretty sure he is gay.. If he tries to come or cum onto me i will drive a stake so far into his heart even his blood-lings will fucking die.

I glanced Seren's way and sadly he was staring up at me like a child, leeching off my arm. "That's enough" i said sternly, he just whined in response as i tried to pry him off. I will not resort to violence, i will not resort to violence, i will no- i flicked him in the nose, making him instantly releasing me from his jaws.

"Oowwwwwwww!!!" He rubbed his nose as i washed my wrist under warm water "annoying" was all i said, leaving to sit on the couch, which was taken up by a now sleeping Y/n, she looked peaceful, her hair covering her face slightly.

You know, she is a lot more cute when sleeping, wait.. Not cute that's not what i meant, tolerable, i meant tolerable. I shook my head and sat on the floor next to the couch, biting my tongue, i cant believe i thought something so stupid.
