Bakugou was frustrated with everything. Despite hours of effort, his body was having difficulties with adapting to the substance. His worry increased, for every second he wasted, was a second lost for saving Uraraka. A second that could be the start of the experiments. Multiple seconds that could end up being the timespan of torture being afflicted on Uraraka. And another set of seconds sitting in water which was not as healthy as his skin needed to breathe.
The pro heroes that were contacted were trying their best to figure out Ochako's location. Everyone, in general, was looking for her as there were posters and signs, however, barely any clues were accessible to where she was.
The students at UA high school was monitored more closely to ensure student safety. However, that restricted the movements of the students who wanted to help.
Everyone in class 1A was on edge when the news hit. The atmosphere couldn't get more awkward with the confusion of how to act when two of their classmates were suffering.
To be happy was almost unacceptable. To be sad was, apparently, too distracting of their studies.Just when will this chaos end?
-----------------------------*Time Skip to a Day Later*---------------------------
She was sure she was screaming. The piercing noise was present and there were even echoes. But even then, no one answered her cries. Her whole body felt lighter like she was floating upwards, yet her head felt heavy, like a bowling ball.
'Bakugou left you'
'Bakugou abandoned you'
'he doesn't love you'
'he hates you'
'you're nothing but a burden'
The thoughts that surged through her head made her boil up with tears. She told them to shut up multiple times, for she knew they were all lies, and struggled as shackles pulled her higher, too high for comfort. But all was inevitable.
Brainwashing was way too easy with everything in her system. The drugs were finally going to be of use.
'Wake up'
Uraraka gasped awake, chains on her limbs restricting her movement and the coldness of the ground seeping through her pants. Everything was spinning as her head felt as if it would soon roll off and separate from her body. Then she heard a voice,
"How do you feel, my darling, Uraraka?" It was Nairu, closing the door behind him and walking closer to Ochako, "Too bad Bakugou ditched you, neh? Now he shall suffer the consequences!"
Uraraka didn't lift up her head and gritted her teeth. She wanted to bark back, opposing that Bakugou left her, but instead, she silently blamed herself. It was her fault for not listening to the voicemail. She wondered if and hoped that everyone she shared information with, was fine. Nairu interrupted her thought process,
"Hey, U•ra•ra•ka~ I'll let you see him tomorrow! How about it?" Uraraka finally lifted her head, eyes widened. How many hours has she even spent fastened to the wall feeling nauseous? Even a taste of fresh air would be a relief. But was she going to trust the villain? Absolutely not...right?
Kameda went down on his knees as Uraraka tried to reply, but only a murmur was released. Answer unknown, yet Kameda took it as a yes,
"I understand. The only exception; you'll have to take these pills every 3 hours. I'll remind you to take them, and don't worry, they're just some type of painkillers, after all. Here." Nairu held out his hand with a pill and stuck his other hand out in the air, which soon became surrounded by purple smoke. A moment later, he pulled out a water bottle and also brought it in front of Ochako. "Take it." Uraraka looked at him in confusion as she was still chained up. "Use your new quirk! It's the only way you'll see Bakugou! Hmmm, I'll give you 3 minutes, starting now! No time to waste!"
Uraraka didn't know what he did with her quirk. She was dizzy and, most especially, confused. She debated for a while and decided that she'd at least try.
First, she tried releasing herself from the wall. 'Floating,' she thought. She imagined, the shackles breaking and floating...off? It didn't really work. She did feel a slight increase of space on her wrists, but that took way too much time and energy.
Then let's move on to plan B. The pill and the bottle. They were certainly lighter than the metal cuffs on her wrists.
She focused the floating sensation on the pill. It was easier to move, but her head started to hurt. She moved the pill slowly towards her mouth and finally got it in. But there wasn't enough time to get the water bottle opened and to her mouth.
Kameda saw her struggle and decided that he would give her the water bottle to continue his plan. But before he could, Uraraka lifted her head up and swallowed down the pill.
Nairu was shocked. He gripped the water bottle in his hand and got up to laugh, covering his eyes with his left hand, head tilted upwards. He slowly brought his hand down as Uraraka watched him with a hazy expression,
"What dedication! Heh heh... y'know, you make me reeeally hate people like you. People who could love sooo deeply makes me sick." His voice lowered as he opened the water bottle and poured it on her head, "You've literally only gone out for A SINGLE DATE! And now what!? You want to see him!?"
Through her daze, Uraraka wanted to scream at the top of her lungs. But once a sound escaped,
'Shut Up,'
played in her head. Nairu continued to yell in anger,
"He abandoned you! He left you here to suffer! He's already back to his regular school life!" He threw the empty water bottle to the side, snapped his fingers to release the chains and commanded Uraraka to follow him.
'Close your eyes'
He commanded before he opened the door to walk to the teleportation room. Uraraka heard Nairu mumble words as he thought of his mother,
"I'll never forgive her. Never."
(A/N: I hope you guys aren't too disappointed in my time management. I'll try my best to update in the next few weeks. Have a great day!)
