"Bakugou?" Kirishima knocked on the dorm door, hoping it would open. He inhaled before speaking, "Bakugou, I... I didn't really mean what I said earlier..." Another pause of silence, "Look, I just want to make sure you're okay and I'm really sorry if the message came out wrong." There was still no answer.
Kirishima put his ear against the door, listened carefully, and contemplated whether he should just open the door or not.
Eventually, he placed his hand on the doorknob and attempted to slowly turn the handle, however, the door was locked.
"... I get it. I won't bother you from now on. By all means, you don't have to show up to class if you don't want to." His voice trailed off, "Just, as long as you take care of yourself."
Kirishima spent a few seconds staring at the door, looking for even a little sign of movement from the other side. Then after no result, he mumbled a sorry before returning to his room.
-----An Hour Earlier-----
Bakugou and Uraraka were sitting on a park bench. The wind occasionally countering the comforting silence. Thinking about it, it was a moment of déjà vu; they first started to interact with each other when they talked on the bench. The only difference is that it was tenser now.
Uraraka looked down and placed her hands on her thighs, avoiding Bakugou's gaze. Then she spoke unsteadily,
"Bakugou, I think... I think we should help Nairu and get this over with." Bakugou seemed puzzled and pondered over the situation they were both in. Uraraka then explained, "Because he said that we'll get to go back to our normal lives." She looked up at Bakugou with pleading eyes.
Bakugou stared at Uraraka for a moment. Then, he looked away, not being able to think clearly if persuaded by her eyes.
Uraraka tried justifying herself,
"I'm not saying we shouldn't be cautious, it's just that... I think this is the only option."
Bakugou was still unresponsive as he stared at his hands. Everything was hazy. Uraraka continued to speak, "I'm sorry that I can't think of a better solution... It's been... almost unbearable." She finally looked away from Bakugou and folded her legs up on the bench to clasp them in her arms. Bakugou eyed her movement. Uraraka's voice was now muffled in her knees, "He planned almost everything. It's useless... I can't even give you any information because I don't know anything a-and we're being watched a-and I've been blindfolded... a-and I-"Uraraka was interrupted by a light thud she felt on her side. She tensed up, holding in her breath. As she slowly raised her head from her knees and peeked, she saw blond spiky hair sticking out. Bakugou was there, his warm forehead placed on her shoulder.
With a shallow voice, Bakugou eased,
"It's okay, Uraraka. You don't have to suffer anymore. Let's just get this damn thing over with. Tell me what to do." Bakugou comforted her by getting up from the position to stroke her hair. Uraraka teared up a bit and they both pulled each other into a hug.
Only moments later, Nairu interrupted and complained,
"Geez, I thought you guys would take forever." They immediately stopped hugging and Bakugou was about to throw some hands. Uraraka held Bakugou back as Nairu continued speaking, "Great job, Uravity. Now exploda-boy, you ready?"
"Just tell me what to fucking do, you annoying little twerp," Bakugou said as he held Uraraka's hand.
"Alright, alright. All you need to do is to do what you were going to do, had you not met your sweet cheeks. Easy peasy, right? Find the lady and be my spy! Got it?" Nairu said as he looked Bakugou in the eyes and crossed his arms.
"Fine. But you have to a least let Uraraka go to school so I know what her condition is." Nairu chuckled slightly and Bakugou gritted his teeth.
"Alright, that can be arranged. Now bid your little farewells."
Uraraka and Bakugou turned to stare at each other. The expression of ' I'll save you ' plastered on Bakugou's face as Uraraka told him to be careful.
Uraraka stood up from the bench and walked towards Nairu, glancing back at Bakugou one last time as purple fog slowly accumulating behind Nairu.
"You will report to me every day at 6 pm. Gather as much info as possible; even a daily schedule would be very much accepted. I will allow your sugar cake to attend school after I deem my plan to be ready. Do your best, Mr. Porcupine. We'll be waiting." Nairu said as the fog engulfed him and Uraraka.
Bakugou ignored the insult and stayed still as he watched the smoke completely disappear before finally getting up to walk in the direction of the hospital.
-----Back To The Present Time, At The Hospital-----
Bakugou asked the receptionist about the doctors there, trying to figure out which area of the hospital the dark blue haired woman worked at. After Bakugou met with a few dark blue haired staff, he ended up denying to have met any of them. Unsurprisingly, the receptionist claimed to no longer be any other staff that have the description he mentioned. Then, he tiredly made his way out of the hospital.
After walking out of the hospital, Bakugou tried to think of other places to find her but came to the conclusion of just visiting the hospital again tomorrow. However, right when he came to the nearest crosswalk, a woman's voice called out from behind Bakugou,
"I see you've finally came to find me, Bakugou." Bakugou came to a full stop and turned around to face her. Soon enough, blue smoke shrouded both of their bodies and they were teleported to what looked like a backyard.
Bakugou was about to speak but was cut off,
"I bet you my little puppy told you to come find me." Bakugou held his breath and forced a questioning look upon his face, hoping he wouldn't give himself away. After she glanced at him, she sat down on a nearby wooden chair and continued, "Ah, or maybe not. Well, as you may probably assume, I'm the owner of the little dog who's currently running wild. And a little bird told me that you want your girl back. Work with me and you got yourself all you could possibly want." She smiled while she told him to take the seat across from her.
Bakugou played along,
"Do you know where she is?" He sat down in the chair.
"Of course I do. Now, first things first; call me Fukuda."
