Jaylen let out a sigh and his face soon became the usual expressionless face as he boarded the bus, putting his face mask back on and inserted his earphones into his ear. Meanwhile, Kujo called his friends and they met up at the cafe. "He doesn't seem that bad." Aiken said. "We were all worried when you suddenly said you are meeting someone you met online." Sara said and Kujo chuckled. "But he seems decent and pure." Kijin said. "Now i'm worried about him than you." Kyo added and Aiken agreed. "Me too." Kujo chuckled. "Shall we go other places?" He suggested and his friends nodded.
Once Jaylen arrived home, his step-father looked at him and rolled his eyes. Jaylen bit his lips, pretending that he had not noticed. "You are finally back." His mother said and Jaylen simply nodded. "Go to your room and get ready for dinner." His step-father simply said in his cold tone and Jaylen went to his room. He then took out his phone and opened the social app. He bit his lips, wondering if he should text Kujo yet a part of him thinks the words Kujo said does not mean anything.
After contemplating for a long time, Jaylen decided to text Kujo. "Hi. I just arrived home." As he is changing into a more comfortable, long sleeve baggy shirt and a baggy pants, his phone vibrated. He looked at the message and a smile finally appeared on his expressionless face. "That's good. I was worried that something happened to you." Came Kujo's reply. "Want to text later?" He added and with his phone number along with the message. Jaylen was shocked to see Kujo's phone number and was confused at the same time.
After taking another long contemplation, Jaylen decided to give Kujo his phone number as well since he thinks it would be rude if he didn't. Kujo saw the number and was surprised since he did not expect Jaylen to send him his phone number as well. "Oh.. Exchanging phone numbers i see." Sara teased when she looked over at Kujo's phone and Kyo laughed. "Why didn't you guys exchange phone numbers back at the cafe?" Kijin asked. "Well.. The atmosphere doesn't really match with exchanging phone numbers at the time." Kujo replied and they nodded. "I really hope it goes well for the two of you but if not.. You gained another friend." Aiken said and Niko nodded in agreement.
