Chapter 19

It was another usual weekend and Jaylen is staying in his room as usual. As he is replying to Kujo's messages while watching animes to feed his romance needs, his eyes widened at a sentence from Kujo's message. "Are you free tomorrow?" Jaylen's mind went into overdrive mode, overthinking why Kujo wants to meet him and all the negative scenarios popped into his mind.

He finally texted back after almost five minutes of pondering and worrying. "Okay. Where?" And in an instant, a reply came. "Want to go to the park near the mall? I've always wanted to go there." Kujo replied and Jaylen was confused. "Park?" He texted back. "Yeah. I'll bring you there." Kujo replied and Jaylen smiled at Kujo's reply. "Okay." He texted back. "In the afternoon then?" Kujo asked and Jaylen replied back with a "sure". He then went back to watching his anime but his mind wasn't focused on it but instead, his mind is thinking about tomorrow, which fills him with anxiety, excitement and worries.

The next day came in a blink of an eye and after dressing himself in his usual, casual style, he went to the mall. "Hey~" A message came and Jaylen smiled at the message. "Hi." He texted back. "Want to meet at the entrance of the mall?" Kujo suggested. "Okay." Jaylen replied back as he smiled, getting excited to meet Kujo once more. When he arrived, he saw Kujo using his phone, earphones in his ears as he leaned his back againt the wall.

Jaylen walked towards him as he admired his fashion style. *Even if he's not cosplaying.. He is still so fashionable.* He thought in his head as he stared at Kujo, not realizing that he is doing it and also, that he had stop walking. Kujo chuckled softly when he noticed Jaylen and walked over to him. "Hey." He said as he waved his hands in front of Jaylen's face, waking him up from idolizing him. "S-sorry." Jaylen first reaction is to apologize as he looked down. Kujo chuckled and hold Jaylen's hand, shocking him as he looked at Kujo, eyes widened slightly.

"You don't like it?" Kujo asked, slightly worried. "N-not that.. Wh-why h-h-hold hands?" Jaylen stuttered, too stunned to form a proper sentence and Kujo tried hard to hold back his chuckle. "Well.. I don't want you to get lost and.. I want to walk alongside you." Kujo smiled, making Jaylen blush brightly but nodded at Kujo's explanation, even though it still doesn't seem like a good explanation as to why Kujo is holding his hand. "Shall we go then?" Kujo smiled and lead the way, with their hands in each other's.
