Two months have passed and Jaylen has been feeling out of sorts and even though he still chats online with Kujo, they couldn't meet once in the two months as their schedule doesn't match up. Jaylen sighed as he laid on his bed, mentally and emotionally tired, not wanting to do anything as he just stared at the plain white ceiling in his room. As he is pondering about his life decisions, his phone vibrated, getting his attention back to reality.

He saw it's a message from Kyle, inviting him out for dinner, and he accepts it since it's a weekend. After wearing his usual black hoodie sleeve shirt, wrist bands on each wrists and a grey pants. He took his bag and left for the venue where Kyle is at. After awhile, he finally arrived and texted Kyle, asking him where he is at and a text message came, saying that he is in the food court. Jaylen saw and went straight to the food court to look for his friend.

Once he reached the food court, it took him almost five minutes to find Kyle since due to the over-crowding food court. "You found me." Kyle smiled, relieved, when he finally saw Jaylen. "Yeah." Jaylen said, sighing in relieve as well, as he sat opposite of him. "Shall we get some food?" Kyle suggested and Jaylen nodded. "So? How has it been between you and your favourite cosplayer?" Kyle asked as he started eating his food while Jaylen choked on his food when he heard the question.

"Such a big reaction." Kyle chuckled. "Want to tell me about it?" He said teasingly, causing Jaylen to kick him lightly under the table, making Kyle laugh more. "N-nothing much.. Just.. Maybe.. H-ha-hand holding?" Jaylen stuttered as he blushed just thinking about it. "Oh? You two hold hands?" Kyle asked with shining eyes and Jaylen nodded shyly. "That's good. You two are making progress." Kyle smiled. He then looked at Jaylen, with a more serious gaze this time. "Did you.. Tell him about yourself?" He asked and Jaylen shook his head. "He wouldn't accept someone like me if he knew." Jaylen sighed.

"Your wrists.. Did it worsen?" Kyle asked as his brows furrowed together, worried about his friend, but Jaylen simply shook his head. "It didn't. It has always been the same as usual." Jaylen said as he ate his food. "And i thought you wouldn't do it once you are in a relationship." Kyle sighed. "Relationship? Me? In one?" Jaylen said, incredulous to the statement Kyle has just said. "Were you not?" He asked, confused and Jaylen nodded. "We are just friends." Jaylen said and Kyle simply nodded with a hum. "Don't you want to be in a relationship with him? Or date him?" Kyle asked and Jaylen bit his lips.

"I do like him but.. Dating him and much less being in a relationship.. These two things i dare not even dream about." Jaylen mumbled and Kyle sighed. "I mean.. Who would like a person with an unstable mind? No one. Since there will never be any peace." Jaylen added, making Kyle sigh more at his friend's lack of self-confidence and inclusive of his depression.
