I am here with a new challenge!!!
A challenge I am MORE than looking forward to! I get to gush about my favorite songs all month!! So without further ado, let us start day 1!
Day 1 - A song from your childhood
Okay, this one is a little hard, but I know exactly the song. There are many songs I could do. I could go the Veggie-Tales route and Silly Songs with Larry, The Prince Of Egypt, or even something from my childhood show Lazytown (wearenumberone)
But no, Im going deeper. Im going to the influences of my sister and the songs she listened to I adored with her! And there is not a song I remember more than This Love by Maroon 5.
I cannot describe the memories I have of this song with my sister. Once she moved out I moved on and forgot about it, but sometimes recently I heard this song in public and it sparked my memory instantly and almost left me in tears remembering just how much this song meant to me so long ago.
Music was one of the ways me and my sister bonded, and yes this song was one of our jams! We had many, and a whole bunch of her songs I knew the lyrics to by heart according to her! This song is no exception! Hearing it again, I just remember so vividly listening to this with her in the car, or at home in her room with her friends. 'This Love' reminds me so much of the great childhood I had with my sister before she moved away from home, those are memories I will always cherish and as long as this song exists I will never forget them ❤️
