Day 8 - A song that reminds you of your "first love"
Ugh. Damn you. Damn this challenge I don't like using those words when thinking about my ex. The only love I have now and will ever have is Lanvoine thank you very much.
*deep breath*
Alright just gotta suck it up and get through this and it'll all be over and we never have to bring it up again cool
I guess the most fitting song, aside from Unbroken, that I can think of would be Talk To Me by Cavetown.
I found this song through my friend Equiston. A couple months ago Myo was hosting a collab challenge and Equi wanted to collab with me on this song. I had never heard it before but I liked it and agreed.
I wish this wasn't the case, as it affects how I see the song, but if Im being honest it *does* remind me of my ex because he did used the be the person I could talk to about nearly anything.
Not the case anymore, obviously. But 3 years ago things were different and he was one of the only people I could talk to about anything.
So yeah, I guess this song is kinda tainted because of that. Joy. But I still try to enjoy this song for what its for, and think about it in a new light. Apply it to my good relationships I have now, like my best friend, my amazing boyfriend <3, and a handful of other discord friends who I know I can go to about anything and get the help I need!
Yknow, this is kind of a song that can apply to any important person in ones life, and I like that.
