Jasmine P.O.V.

I opened the door ready to leave this hotel and saw Evan sitting on the floor.

He stayed here all night?

Why would he do that?

I just walked past him like I didn't see him and headed to the elevator.

"Jasmine I know you see me sitting here!" he called out as he stood up.

I pressed the elevator call button hoping it'd open before Evan got to me.

I just wanted to check out of this hotel, leave, go pick up my kids, and skip town.

Maybe I wasn't really going to skip town but it didn't mean I didn't want to.

"Jasmine!" Evan called out as the elevator doors opened.

I quickly got on the elevator and tried to have the doors close before Evan got close.

He managed to get in the elevator with me and he closed the doors. He then pressed the button to have the elevator stop.

Shit! I was now trapped in this small space with this low down dirty man.

"Start the elevator," I said already over this bullshit.

"No. We're going to talk," Evan said.

I put down Noah in his car seat and sighed.

"It's just your way or the damn highway isn't? It's always what Evan wants when he wants it. Spoiled ass," I said the last part under my breath.

"What are you talking about? It's not always my way," Evan argued.

"Are you kidding me? That's a joke right? Evan I want you to use condoms because I want to finish school. I'm not using condoms preventing us from having more kids," I said as I repeated a conversation we once had.

"Really? You're going to stand here and make it sound like me wanting children with you is somehow wrong? You're my woman. The love of my life! You knew early on that I wanted kids with you!" Evan argued.

"Every time I wanted to start my classes back up you talked me out of it. Keeping me pregnant and at home while you go out and work all day," I said.

"And? I'm the man I'm suppose to provide for my wife and kids," Evan said.

"What kind of caveman thinking is that? I had a job when you met me Evan. Now you've made it so I'm like some kind of housewife," I said.

"What is so bad about being a housewife? My mom was a housewife and she's a good woman is she not?" Evan said defensively.

"Your mother is a wonderful woman. But times were different when she was raising you. The old school way of life worked back then. Now a days women can be bosses too! I want something outside of this relationship and being a mother," I said.

"Jasmine you know I don't want a nanny raising our kids," Evan said sternly.

"I'm not saying we get a nanny but your mother could watch the kids," I suggested.

"Her watching the kids every once and awhile is fine but daily no. You're their mother. I want you with them daily," Evan argued.

"Evan why don't you want me working?" I asked.

"Why are we arguing about this? I have millions! You don't need to work baby. I'm taking good care of you am I not? Do you not have everything you need and want! Am I not a good provider for this family?" Evan asked.
