9 Boys 1 Choice

Montevideo, Uruguay

We walk into the airport in Montevideo and it's already filled with tons of fans. I was walking with Luke, Niall, and Kaitlyn. Harry was with the other 1D boys and Em left last night.

"You doing ok?" I ask Luke.

"Yeah. By the way, thanks for always being there for me Saphira." he smiles.

"Anything for you Luke!" I say and talk with Niall and Kait since Luke went by Michael and I wave to both of them.

"Haven't seen you in forever." Niall gives me a big hug before we get into the van.

"I know! I missed you!" I say sadly.

"How's little Niall?" I ask Kaitlyn. she giggles.

"I actually have to go back to the US for a few days for an ultrasound" she gives a really cheesy smile.

"AWWW yay!" I shout.

"You're gonna be her aunt/godmother." Niall adds.

"A her? And oh my god thank you!" I asked surprised and finish the statement with excitement.

"He wants a girl and I want a boy." Kaitlyn says. It's like they finish each other's thoughts, how adorable.

We get out of the van and I catch up to Harry as we walk up to our hotel suite.

"Hey babe." he says.

"Hi." I stick my tongue out and he laughs at my childishness.

I was thinking more and more and realized I had to stop with Ashton and tell Harry tonight. He said he wanted to marry me so it was time to get serious.

"Harry meet me in the lobby in 15 minutes." I smile.

"Okay. Love you beautiful." he says and waves to me. The show started in 7 hours and it was 12 pm.

I go to Ashton's room and knock on the door. Calum opens and Caleah's half naked trying not to laugh.

"Um is Ashton here?" I ask awkwardly.

"Next room!" Calum laughs.

I walk over and knock on that door and Luke opens up.

"Hey Luke..can I talk to Ash quick?" I try to peek into the room to look.

"Yep! Ashton!" he shouts.

Ashton walks out and follows me out the door.

"Look this is going to stop and we're gonna be really good friends okay?" I ask nicely.

"Of course, or friends with benefits?" he winks and I laugh.

"Ashton I'm in a serious relationship and I'm telling Harry tonight." I say more seriously.

"Okay okay. Friends." he gives me a tight hug and I kiss his cheek.

"Thank you." I say.

"Anytime." he smiles and we make small talk until I realize it's 12:30 pm.

I rush down to the lobby only to find the most heart breaking thing. Harry making out with a tall blonde girl and they're definitely getting it on. I immediately start crying and run out of the hotel. I take a cab to the stage.

I have been here for about 20 minutes and I've been singing sad love songs into the microphone aka amnesia. I got a text from Harry.

~You're late (;~

I put my phone down and soon get 3 calls from Niall, a text from Kaitlyn, 4 calls from Harry, one text from Luke, a call from Ash and Cal, and a text from Caleah. But one text stood out the most and it was Michael's.

~I know where you are and I'm coming to get you okay? no refusing <3~

I smile like an idiot and look up to see him walking in.

"Show starts in 30 minutes and I know you love to sing, like me" he gives me a half smile. I start talking about what happened right away.

"Harry cheated on me and I know I deser-" I cut off.

"No you don't. I forgave you and it was one mistake S, he shouldn't have done that to you twice." he says sympathetically.

"Well I wasn't the best cookie in the jar." I say.

"Ashton. I know, but he told me you were going to confess tonight so you were the better person." he says.

"Thanks Michael. You always know how to make me feel better." He wraps his arms around me and I rest my head on his shoulder, his familiar cologne was soothing.

I sang with 5SOS tonight and Michael said he'd let me stay in his room. I told Michael I'd meet him so I could meet Niall and Kait but Harry found me first.

"S.." Harry comes up and combs through his hair with his fingers.

"Don't Harry." I say ready to cry.

"I-" I cut him off.

"Okay look... I am in love with you but you can't stay in a committed relationship at all. I'm never giving you another second chance. I'll admit I kissed Ashton while we were dating but I was going to confess to you tonight because I heard what you said last night before you fell asleep but it was just an empty promise." I say already in tears.

"Saphira.. I'm so sorry... I meant all of it, I'm just.." he doesn't finish and I give him a sad look.

"Harry all I ever did was love you and now I can't stop picturing you with her. This is over, whatever this is." I push his shoulder with a small force and he let's me go.

"S, you can sleep by me." Michael says.

I crawl into bed and cuddle up by his head.

Thank you so much." I say.

"We're friends. or whatever we are now, I care about you."

"I care about you too." I look into his eyes as I say it.

He leans down and kisses my lips gently yet with warmth. I kiss him once more before my eyes shut and everything seems alright as I slept by my first love.
