Calum's flight back to LA was in a few hours, so after spending the whole morning showing him around the campus and my favorite cafes in Boston, we decided to get back to the hotel.

I walked towards him, he was sitting gingerly at the foot of the king size bed. He was leaning over to effortlessly pull me against him.

A small squeak left my mouth at the short impact. He laid flat on his back, my head resting on his arm and my own draped lazily over his torso.

We stay like that for a while, as I watch his chest go up and down with each breath.

Finally, after a long, comfortable silence, his lips part. "I'm going to miss you. I hate it that I can't stay longer."

I shrugged. "It's fine. We'll skype and call every day, and my next school break is in like, a month or two." I told him and he nodded. "I know, but I can't kiss you over Skype," he said before sitting up, making me sit up as well. Now I was sitting on his lap. He pulled a stray of hair away and kissed me softly on the lips.

"I love you so, so much," he whispered in my ear before leaving an invisible trail of kisses along my jawline, back to my mouth, deepening the kiss.

We kissed for a while until suddenly, we were not.

"Why do you love me?" The question surprised him, mainly because a moment ago I was kissing him and now I'm not. Now he's still sitting on the mattress and I'm standing across the room, head cocked to the side, arms wrapped around my waist.

His poor oxygen-deprived brain can't really process much except that not touching me is a no and this distance is terrible and he'd say damn near anything to get me to slip into his arms again. "You have horrible timing love, you know that?"

I shrugged, tugged at the end of my sweater before looking up at him. "Just. Just answer the question. Please? I just, I need to hear it right now. Why do you love me?" There is a wide-eyed vulnerability to me right now that he doesn't know what to do with. He doesn't know how to hold the pieces of me that I keep giving him without warning, don't know how to process my swollen lips and big blue eyes that look like they've swallowed the sun.

I swallowed. Watched him chew on the dimple on his left cheek. He resisted the urge to unfold himself from this mattress and go to me instead. "Because. Because... Hell, I don't know. Because I laugh more around you and I don't hate it when you touch me and I miss you. I miss you always. Does it have to be more complicated than that?" he said.

He didn't understand why I suddenly asked him this random question, but I just needed to know. We both have a lot of insecurities and after our fight, we both realized how vulnerable this relationship is. And maybe there still was a part of me waiting for the hidden camera's because I was in an episode of Punk'd.

Calum got up, walking over to me. "Really?" I asked him and he nodded. "Yeah, you make me feel giddy, and I laugh too much around you, and your voice gives me butterflies, and you make my pulse race, and just thinking about you makes me smile. But it's also more than that. You make me feel safe. Secure. Like nothing could ever touch me as long as you're there. You chase away all my fears with a single word and you don't even realize it." he said before his arms wrapped tightly around me as he rests his chin on top of my head.

His answer relaxed me. He really did love me.

"What are you doing?" I murmur in his chest.

"Burrito-ing you," he mumbles back.

"I don't like being burrito-ed," I lie, relaxing into his arms. "You are such a bad liar," he whispers before kissing the top of my head.

"I love you too, Calum."

"I know, love."

Our peaceful moment got interrupted by Calum's phone ringing. He let a groan escape from his mouth as he grabbed his phone from his pocket. "Who is it?" I asked. "Ash. Probably to check if you haven't killed me yet," he said before answering the phone and putting it on speaker. "Sup, Ash?" he asked as he pulled me closer with his other arm, his chin still rested on top of my head.

"Mate, have you checked the internet yet?" Ashton asked with a dead serious voice. I frowned, what was going on?

"No? Why?" Calum asked before letting me go and grabbing my hand, walking over to the bed again.

"Just.. go on google and google yourself," Ash said, and I've never heard him so serious and nervous before. "Hold on," Cal said as I grabbed my phone and went to google.

I quickly went to google search and googled Calum Hood, and the first thing that I saw were articles from the front page news.

My heart missed a beat as I read a few.

Is Calum Hood abusing his girlfriend?

5SOS Star Calum Hood accused of psychically hurting his girlfriend, Elizabeth Wilson.

Does Calum Hood have an alcohol problem?

I showed them to Calum, who looked like all the blood in his face had disappeared, and I decided to open up the second article.

5SOS Star Calum Hood accused of psychically hurting his girlfriend, Elizabeth Wilson

Oh, how the mighty have fallen. While the boys just ended their worldtour, life hasn't been that great for 5 Seconds of Summer star Calum Hood. This is evidenced by a new report that claims the bassist physically assaulted his girlfriend, Elizabeth Wilson after he had been drinking all day. While nobody was named specifically, a source that is close friends with Woods confirmed this to Page Six.

According to the reports, Hood was at a party in LA and was said to have been "smoking and drinking all day". When he saw someone talking to his girlfriend, the 22-year-old bass player got so mad he hit his girlfriend, the 20-year-old Elizabeth Wilson. Wilson also got pushed against a counter, leaving her with a head concussion.

Hood and Wilson met last year when Wilson, a long-term fan of the band 5 Seconds of Summer, found Hood's ring at one of the concerts and confirmed their relationship a few months later over an Instagram post.

Both Hood and Wilson have yet to respond to the alleged accusation.

Just a few months ago, colleague and drummer of the band 5SOS, Ashton Irwin, revealed that he's scared of becoming an alcoholic. Is Calum Hood following in his footsteps? This news comes to us courtesy of PageSix.
