The first part of the tour was done, we had already finished America. I couldn't believe how time had flown by and the first month and a half of the tour were already over.
It ended in Boston and that meant the boys had a week off and we all had some time to prepare the next part of the tour. But that wasn't the only thing Calum was getting ready for, he was getting ready to meet my parents.
I had never seen the poor dude so nervous before, changing clothes every ten minutes because it just didn't feel right. I had to admit that it was kinda funny to see him like this.
Before I joined the boys on tour I had promised my parents that once we'd get back in Boston I would bring Calum over, they really wanted to meet the reason behind me quitting university and exploring the world.
"Would you stop fidgeting?" I said to Calum for the fourth time in the past three hours. Calum paused his nervous pacing and looked up.
"I'm meeting your parents," he stated, I shrugged and his eyes widened in panic. "I'm meeting your parents for the first time ever."
I shrug again, "So? They're nice people, I promise." but he shakes his head and continues pacing. I raised my head from my phone and inspect him, he was now wearing his Bordeaux blouse that he knew I loved. I tilted my head to the side and smiled slightly. "I like it."
His lips turn into a cocky smirk, his eyes still a little nervous. "You can't keep your eyes off me for even a second, huh?" he said and I smiled coyly and stand up. I started slowly walking towards Calum and trailed my fingers across his jaw. "Don't want to," I whispered before giving him a quick kiss.
"Time to go?" he asked and I nodded. "If you're ready," I told him and he nodded. "I guess this is as ready as I'll ever be," he said before grabbing my jacket and holding it out for me as I slip my arms in.
He moves to my front and buttons my coat up for me, a sweet gesture of him. His brown eyes met mine right before he wraps his arms around me and gave me a tight hug as he nestled his face into my neck.
My hands find his back and I close my eyes, inhaling his familiar scent.
He pulled away and bites his lip, "I'm really, really nervous Liz."
I take his hands in mine and rub soothing circles over his palm. "I think you're adorable when you're nervous. Don't be, I'll be right there and I'm sure they'll love you."
He let out a deep sigh, finally letting go of my hands as he put on his own jacket before grabbing his phone and opening the hotel room door, just to be greeted by Luke. "Hey, the cab is here, but there are a lot of paps outside, some fan leaked that we are staying here," he told us and Calum rolled his eyes. "Fucking fantastic," he said frustrated. I sighed, fucking paparazzi.
Calum led me outside and Luke was right, there was a lot of paparazzi here and a shitton of fans, waiting for any one of us to come outside. The cab was right in front of the hotel, we just had to see how we would get through this mess together. Calum, being the protective boyfriend he is, grabbed my hand and stepped right in front of me to block any pictures. People kept shouting his name and bombarding him with questions. I tensed up, feeling suffocated with all these people being so close to us. Calum didn't answer any of them and tried his best to ignore the cameras flashing in his face as we made our way to the cab.
Once we got in and the cab door was closed, he immediately turned to me. "You okay, sweetheart?" he asked, making sure I was okay and didn't get hurt or anything. I nodded and he wrapped one of his arms around me, pulling me closer, kinda holding me while the tenseness in his body, and mine, would fade away.
