P. Thirty three

LUNA
I close the door behind me. I'm going for diner by myself and surprisingly I'm pretty exited, it's not always that fun to go out lonely. Today is Wednesday, had a buzzy but good day. Went to my physiologist, it was a good session, I really needed it. Went to the gym, did some drawing and made some phone calls that I needed to make. Now I'm ready for a good meal and just sit outside, watching the stars, people, listen to other people their conversations. Yes I do that, it's interesting.

I take a sip of my water. The lights are shining, there are still allot of people walking the streets. Do you ever just look at the sky? The big bear, stars falling down. I find it very peaceful. The night sky is a pretty thing. 'Your chicken.' The plate gets placed down in front of me.
'Thank you Marie.' I come here allot, the view is pretty, the food is good; that's important.
'Enjoy honey.' She leaves my table. Is there life beyond earth? Are there creatures living in different planets we don't know of? I don't really believe aliens exist, not like in the movies. But maybe there is life out there. Imagine there are other creatures that can't reach our earth because they can't handle something what we have on earth. Just like we can't reach their planet.

Smiling I look at my phone. How cute is he? I can't handle his cuteness. I save the short video of Daniel, that I see when I scroll through Instagram. He looks adorable with his braces in. I have allot of photos and videos saved of Daniel on my insta. My saved things existed out of memes, funny videos, some other stupid shit I wanna save, videos of me; that I like. And Daniel, he has a whole collection. Gotta love my man. Don't get my started on my gallery though. Photos and videos the outside world has never seen.

I get up out of bed, wrapping my sheets around me. Still a little sleepy I walk to my living room and lay down on my lovely grey couch. It's a three seater and very deep. I love deep couches, you can hang in them really good. I wanna change my living room again. I think I'm gonna add another couch. A leather one. I already see it in front of me. I also need a new bed, this one is wreck. I feel my eyes getting heavy. Stay awake Guusje.

An Australian voice wakes me up. 'Wake up babe.' I turn around.
'No,' I mumble. I don't wanna get up yet.
'It's already noon Luna.' His warm hand resting on my shoulder.
'I don't understand what you're saying.' Chuckles. His weight on top of me makes me wide awake. What the fuck.
'I can't breath.' I start to slap him, trying to get him off of me. It does work. I make room for Daniel. 'I'm sorry. I didn't know I was going to fall asleep again.' We kiss.
'It's fine. You still wanna go for lunch? Well breakfast for you.' I smile.
'Yeah. I'll be ready in a sec.' I get up. He slaps my on my butt. Smiling I walk over to my bathroom. I haven't slept this long for ages. I throw some cold water in my face. I'm not gonna wear any makeup. My hair looks like it exploded on top op my head. I wet the frizzy curls and then go to my closet. Some underwear and an old baby-pink oversized shirt. Put on some socks and my black All stars. Once again I enter my bathroom, almost forgot to brush my teeth.

'You wanna go for a drive too?' I ask Daniel when I'm all done. I let myself fall down next to him.
'Yeah sure, your car?' I nod. It's nice outside. Birds singing, the sun shining bright, but I believe there is a wind too. I take the cap of Daniel his head. 'You need to get a hair cut.' I move my hand through his long hair.
'I know, that's why I'm wearing a cap.' He takes the cap back and places it back on his head. I smile.
'You know what we're gonna do?' Enthusiast I get up. I grab my car keys out of the bowl standing on the table.
'What?' Daniel gets up too.
'Carpool karaoke!' Some good old throwback songs. I'm so ready.
'Every one will us hear our awful singing voice with your open roof.' That's true, but that doesn't matter. My stomach rumbles.
'Like you care.'
'True. But first we're gonna get some food in our bellies.' Good idea. Her wraps his arm around me.

'Can't keep my hands to myself, I mean I could but why would I want to?' I sing looking into the camera Daniel is holding. I see him smiling behind my phone. Not much later the song finishes and a different one starts. 'Can you put it in my story?' I look from the road to Daniel a couple of times.
'Yeah sure.' In the corner of my eye I can see him being buzzy with my phone. The music stops.
'Lola wants to call you.'
'Put her on speaker.' I'm curious how her date went with Noel. They aren't a couple yet. Not that I'm expecting that to stay for that long, they are cute together. 'Hi Lolo! You're on speaker, Daniel is in the car too.' I hope that's fine. And if it's really special she could just talk Dutch.
'Alright.'
'So how did it go?' She sights.
'I really like him.' Daniel and I look at each other smiling.
'Than what's the matter?' I ask. It's quite for a second.
'He's sick.' What?
'What does he have?' Daniel asks.
'Lung-cancer.' Oh no.
'He figured out last weekend.' Poor boy and poor sissy. 'I don't wanna stop seeing him because he's sick.'
'You shouldn't. He shouldn't go through it alone. He will need your support. But do you wanna do it?' It's quite on the other side. I take a turn left. We're in Italy. We're on our way to the beach, because we don't have that in Monaco. That's sarcasm.
'Yeah I don't wanna leave him, not now. I can't leave him.'
