Oh my god. I actually can't believe this.

"Your daddy is my Aunties best friend!" Zack says walking over to Michael.

I avoid looking at Michael and quickly walk back over to Hayley. I grab my handbag, breathing heavily. Am I having a panic attack or something? I avoid looking at Kim.

"Layla? What's up?" Hayley asks.

"I've got to go."

"What?" She chuckles.

"Give me your car keys."

"Layla." She lowers her eyebrows.

"Just give me them!"

"Layla." Michael says softly.

"Michael?!" Hayley says sounding surprised.

I don't look at him and hold my hand out.

"Keys Hayley!"

"Do you all know each other?" Kim asks, looking confused.

Hayley shakes her head and hands me the car keys. I quickly walk off, heading for the exit. I can't be dealing with this. I start to cry as I'm walking to the car. I wipe away my tears and sigh. I quickly unlock the car and sit inside. I rub my face and breathe heavily, trying to calm down. Five minutes later I see Hayley walking over with Zack.

"Auntie Layla what's wrong?" Zack asks.

Hayley buckles him up in the car.

"I don't feel well."

"Is that why you didnt speak to Michael?"

I sigh.

"Is that why we are leaving early?"

"Yes Zack!" I snap.

Hayley looks at me.

"Here Zack, draw in your colouring book." She says picking up his colouring book.

She comes round and sits in the drivers seat.

"I'm sorry Layla, I had no idea who she was."

"Its ok."

"I can't believe it." She shakes her head. "He must have got out of prison early?" She says trying to be quiet so Zack doesn't here.

"Yeah, he must have." I say sarcastically. "And now he's playing happy families." I wipe away a tear.

"He's an asshole." She says under her breath.

"Thats an understatement." I scoff.

"I can't believe him." She makes a face. "I don't understand how he can do this after everything you went through."

"What's not to understand? He ended things with me when I visited him in prison. I tried to visit him again so many times but he wouldn't see me. Now he's out of prison and he's turned his life around. He's back with his ex and being a dad to his daughter, which he has always wanted. Something I couldn't give him." I try and stop myself from crying. "Now seeing him like that has just really rubbed my face in it Hayley."

She sighs and shakes her head.

"I really want to go back in there. Give him a piece of my mind."

"No." I shake my head. "Lets just get out of here."

I wipe my tears away and rub my face. Hayley sighs and starts the car up. As she pulls away and starts to drive I see Michael walking out looking around. I look away and stare out of the window. I stay silent on the journey home. Hayley parks and we get out and go inside. I go to walk up the stairs but Hayley stops me.

"Are you ok Layla?" She asks looking upset.

"Yeah." I nod. "I'll be fine. I'm just going to finish packing the rest of my stuff."

She nods slowly.

"Ok, well I'll make us all some lunch."

"Yeah." I show half a smile and walk upstairs to my room.

I shut my door and lay on the bed. I really thought I'd never see Michael again... Now I can't get his daughter out of my head. She was so cute... and perfect. It makes me wonder what my baby would have looked like.

My lip starts to tremble as tears roll down my face. I look under my bed and pull out a box. I open it and take out my pregnancy scan. I'm unable to hold back and start to cry holding it to my chest. I shake my head and force myself to stop crying. I wipe my face, putting the scan back in the box. I breathe out deeply and stand up. I really need to take my mind off of all this. I look at my to-do list and packing list, seeing if I've boxed everything.

*THE NEXT DAY*

I put the last of my things in my car and shut the boot.

"Are we going to your new house now Auntie Layla?!" Zack asks getting excited.

"Yeah, you're helping me unpack." I smile.

"No." He laughs. "Mommy and daddy are helping you."

"You're a big boy, you can help too." I say giving him a box. "Go give that to your dad."

He moans and struggles with it.

"Its heavy!"

I laugh and shake my head. I take it off of him and take it over to Jake. He smiles and puts it in his van.

"I think that's everything." I say looking around.

"Lets get you moved in to your new house then." Jake smiles, shutting the van doors.

"Don't sound too happy." I give him a look and laugh.

"Yeah Jake." Hayley says nudging him.

"Sorry." He laughs.

We get ready and drive off to my house. We park and unload the car and van. I haven't got that much stuff but not everything would fit In my car.

"Layla how are you going to sleep? And where are you going to sit? There's nothing in here." Hayley gives me a look.

"All of my furniture is coming tomorrow. I'll just put some pillows and a sleeping bag down on the floor. It's only for the night."

"Why don't you come stay with us tonight until your furniture comes?"

"No." I chuckle. "Honestly it's ok. Its all arriving early in the morning. I'll be fine."

"Ok." She gives me a look.

Jake sighs putting some boxes down.

"Thats the last of your stuff."

I smile.

"Thanks Jake."

"I think it's time for some food and a bottle of wine." Hayley smiles.

"Yeah food and drink is on me, just to say thank you. I've really appreciated everything you've both done for me."

"Aww. Thanks sis." Hayley grins.

"Yeah, thanks Layla... but do you have plates and cutlery?" Jake asks.

"Oh... no I don't." I make a face and laugh.

"I told you to get some Layla." Hayley smirks and shakes her head. "Come on, we better go buy you some before we leave you on your own."

I smile and we leave, heading to the shops.
