third person's pov.

It was their PE time, time to practice their skills in holding knives, and fighting. Everyone was exhausted but no one is planning to give up any time soon.

"One!Two!Three!Four!Five!" They all shout in chorus as they swing their knives and move their bodies in unison.

They practiced more until a voice caught their attention.

"Amazing! He really looks like an octopus~" The tall guy with red hair said. He walks towards the so-called Koro-sensei casually like he is not some kind of threat, but rather, a new toy he can play with. Both of them talk and everyone's eyes are glued to them.
'Who is this guy?' They all thought. Except for Nagisa who's old friends with him.

"Akabane Karma but call me by my first name. Nice meeting you, Koro-sensei." He said with a small smile resting on his face as he reached out his hand to Koro-sensei.

He was grinning... wickedly? Manami thought.

They were shocked from the next scene, Koro-sensei's hand broke. They were all astonished knowing no one have ever damaged their sensei. They saw how playful the guy was, and by just looking, they already know what kind of person he is. Amazing yet devilish.

They started their class that they usually take but it was all normal not until Karma played a trick on his teacher again. It seems like he's a man full of energy and surprises and the type of person who'll do anything to win.

Not long enough, everyone finds it annoying because they're close to not understanding anything because of Karma's tricks interrupting every class.

The next day goes on at how everyone expected Karma to act but to his surprise, it's Koro-sensei's turn to annoy him. Ruining his plans and throwing them back at him, of course, everyone found it funny. Little did he know, the students are thankful to Koro-sensei for sabotaging his tricks so that Karma can finally fully understand how things go in Class 3-E.

It was already dismissal and everyone is getting ready to go home. Manami was picking her things up when her eyes accidentally landed on Karma whose chair is just behind hers. Out of curiosity, Manami can't help but deeply stare at the transferee. It's not like she's judging him but her gaze ended up looking that way. It was then when she noticed that the redhead's orbs are now on hers too.

"Why~?" He asked in his normal playful tone. Manami shook her head and hurriedly leave the room. She can't help but feel the embarrassment running down her veins, spreading in her whole body.

"Wait up Okuda-san!" Kayano shouted just enough for Manami to hear. She stopped walking and looked back at the green-haired cute girl who called out her name.
"Let's walk home together!" Kayano said with a wide grin. Manami awkwardly nodded.  She has little to no experience in communicating with others so the signs of her being awkward are showing. As they walk home, no one dared to speak until Manami thought that she can't make things awkward for Kayano too so she should say something.

"Kayano-san, Y-you have lots of friends and all b-but why are you--" Kayano knows where the question was going so she just had to cut it off and didn't let her finish her words as she spoke.

"Eh!? I don't have that many friends. I want to get along with Okuda-san because she seems fun to be with! It's okay to be friends with you, right Okuda-san?" Kayano said that made Okuda smile from ear to ear and nodded. She wanted a friend all this time but she's just scared to approach people.

"By the way, what do you think about that mischievous Karma-kun?" Kayano said and laughed after. It hasn't been weeks yet they already have such a nickname for him.
"Uhm, he was amazing and all but... He was a bit annoying. He kept on interrupting the class the other day and his personality is a bit off..." Manami honestly answered. Kayano couldn't help but giggle, she has the same thought as Manami about the transferee.
"But some of the girls in the class said he was attractive but yeah his mischievous side broke the line of being likable! Wondering, do you find him handsome too?" Kayano saw the little interaction between him and her and she find them a bit cute.

Why was it all about him..? She thought yet she still responded.

"H-he is handsome." Manami stated. She noticed the wide grin on Kayano's face that made her wonder.
"W-why?" She asked. Kayano shook her head on both sides and smiled.
"It was amazing that Okuda-san is so honest! If it was other girls they might deny it. I was just amazed." She chuckles.

They talk about lots of stuff and bid their goodbyes when they have to part ways.

Karma and Nagisa finally reached the train station. They talk and talk until Karma remembered something.

"Nagisa-kun what's the name of that girl who looked at me?" Karma asked. Nagisa sighed in disbelief.

'Do I look like I know every girl who looks at him?'

"There are a lot of girls who look at you at the class, Karma-kun." Nagisa said. Karma chuckled.
"Sorry sorry~ I mean that girl in glasses~." He said as he reminisces how the petite girl looked at him with furrowed brows.
"Ah! Okuda-san you mean?" Nagisa asked. Karma nodded and show his usual smirk.
"Okuda huh~?" He whispers but enough for Nagisa to hear.
"Karma-kun don't play tricks on girls." Nagisa said that made Karma break off a small laugh.
"No way I would. It's just, I saw how every girl looked. Amaze, scanning and liking yet hers look like she found her mortal enemy." He said that made Nagisa confused.

'He really noticed every glance at him and even categorized them? What more is Okuda-san stands out in his visions when actually Okuda-san is unnoticeable and introvert...' Nagisa thought.

"Trains here, let's go." Karma said and enter the train. Nagisa followed. He still has lots of thoughts but he kept them aside since it's not a big issue to start with.
