"dear diary," donghyuck read aloud, pushing away chenle's face who was trying to go and grab his notebook from the red head.

"when will park jisung finally realize i'm in love with him? when will he realize i want to be more than a bro?" he continued snickering as chenle began to screech just wanting his notebook back.

jaemin looked at his friends blankly, seemingly unaware to what was happening.

it was only a couple seconds before the blonde finally grabbed his notebook away from donghyuck who was laughing like the witch chenle claimed him to be. "shut up!"

donghyuck kept laughing slamming his fist on the table as if it was the funniest thing in the world. "ahh you really like that tree, don't you?"

"says the one who has a crush on a heterosexual male!" chenle retorted feeling a tinge of satisfaction when donghyuck stopped laughing and began to sulk. "don't remind me you ass. at least you have a chance with the guy you like."

"mine wants to be with some cute girl in canada eating their pancakes perfectly drizzled with maple syrup." he continued rolling his eyes in the process. "like, the day after he hugged ne out in the storm, which by the way, i do regret, he came up to me and asked me if i wanted to get breakfast with him next weekend which i assume it to be something from north america. that ass, i want rice and noodles. not pancakes and bacon or whatever the fuck."

chenle rolled his eyes right back at donghyuck before looking at jaemin who still had a blank expression on his face.

"how many times do i have to remind him, this is korea. not canada?!" donghyuck yelled.

"could you shut up for like, ten seconds?!" chenle yelled right back at him, annoyed.

the youngest of the trio then put his attention back on jaemin who was staring into the distance now. "nana, what's wrong? you've been like this all day." he said worriedly as jaemin popped out of the trance he put himself in.

"oh. uh, nothing's wrong. i'm just... shocked i guess."

donghyuck raised an eyebrow, "shocked over what?"

"well..."

flashback

the moment jaemin realized jeno liked him back was also the moment he became a level twenty panicked gay.

he didn't know why he was so shocked, honestly. with all the things jeno has done for him and with him, he would've expected him to have a crush.

but jaemin didn't really want to assume anything.

it took the honey haired boy a couple seconds to recollect himself before he pulled away from jeno who had a slight blush on his face, it being obvious because of the street lights.

"well?"

"jeno i'm- i'm flattered!" jaemin exclaimed wiping any excess water from his face.
