"jaemin can you explain to me why i saw you with redacted?" were the first words jaemin heard upon entering the seven eleven.

the younger only gave jaehyun an innocent look "hmm? i'm pretty sure i walked home alone today, hyung." and though the way he spoke made him seem absolutely clueless to what jaehyun was talking about,

jaehyun knew it was bullshit.

every time jaemin wanted to avoid talking about something, or not wanting to admit to something, he'd act like he didn't know what was going on.

jaehyun glared down at him "should i make my words more clear, jaemin?" he asked as jaemin began to sweat nervously nodding.

"okay. why were you walking in the direction of taeil's house yesterday with taeil?" jaehyun asked slightly irked "if you're having a student teacher relationship i'm-"

"calm down, hyung." jaemin sighed "i'm not in any type of relationship with your ex."

"then what were you doing with him?" jaehyun exclaimed as jaemin rolled his eyes ready to shove his phone down his throat.

"can i talk about it later..." jaemin muttered, jaehyun shaking his head.

"no, i want to know why you were with him." jaehyun crossed his arms over his chest as jaemin began to walk behind the counter.

he gave jaehyun a challenging look "yeah? i want to know why you two broke up, but we don't always get what we want now do we?" he had a playful smirk on his face making jaehyun scowl.

"so, jaehyunnie hyung, tell me why you and taeil hyung broke up. he's pretty sweet if you ask me. he baked me cookies on sunday and we binge watched haikyuu."

jaehyun furrowed his eyebrows "that loser still likes anime?" he asked curiously.

"what do you mean?"

"a couple years ago, taeil and i used to watch anime every weekend, shit like ouran and death note." jaehyun had a small smile on his face "weeb."

"shut up jaemin and let me speak oh my god." he groaned as jaemin snickered "alright, my favorite weeb, continue."

jaehyun rolled his eyes before speaking again "him baking random stuff was a plus. and every time we watched something, he'd feed me and cuddle to my side like a koala and it was cute what the fuck."

jaemin snorted "this only makes me more curious to why you broke up. you both talk about each other with the same energy and emotion."

"do we..?"

"yeah, whenever taeil hyung would talk about you, his voice was filled with so much love and adoration, it kind of hurt knowing he's in a lot of pain cause of whatever the hell happened between you and him." jaemin admitted, a soft frown making it's way on jaehyun's face.

when he was about to say something back, the small bell on the door rang signaling that there was a customer.

jaemin sighed for the second time that night before patting jaehyun's shoulder "hyung, you need to stop being petty and talk to him. y'all are obviously still so in love with each other, it annoys me that you can't man up."
